Unfortunately the box I ordered had faulty bottles and some were leaking, they gave me a full refund and promised it a one time incident, no issues ever again. They smell amazing mess and all 😂 worth the patience their products are wonderful and customers matter to them! Thank you !!!

Hello!This is my review of Folkculture Essential OilThis is my second time purchasing from this brand and I will tell you that they don’t disappoint.I decided I wanted something different from the other essential oils I usually get from other brands.I purchased “Manifest” and the oils smell heavenly.There is a description of each scent on the back if one is interested on what you are smelling.Bye!

I loved this set when I originally bought it back in 2022 or 2023 (forgot when exactly.) I recently got a few oil diffusers and wanted these scents to go into them so I reordered it for the second time (in 2025 though) and the box it came in was destroyed and as if it had water damage. Majority of the oils were leaking. Most of the oils won’t properly drop like the original set does. And the most frustrating thing is that NONE of the scents smell the same and are like Temu level quality vs the high Quality of the original set. My only guess is this box was in an Amazon warehouse for a LONG time and the heat and poor storage made it all way worse than its original quality. Worse thing is the second purchase was full price as well so it’s not even like I got a deal on the crappy set. I am only giving it 3 stars for the low quality of the most recent set but man oh man do I love the original set with the original scents smelling exactly as they are labeled. Still can’t find scent combos as good as these! Especially the Mandarin/Rosemary combo and the Palo Santo/Sandlewood combo. The original Amber scent was also a favorite but the newest set’s version doesn’t smell at all like amber.

Product came leaked and damaged. Cleaned all of it up and decided to use the still because they do smell good. No oil will come out though, basically cannot use them.

TL;DR: If you love richer, traditionally masculine notes, this six-pack is a must. White Musk alone makes the purchase worthwhile, but it runs out fast. Bigger bottles and a musk-focused collection would turn this from good to great.What I Smelled: (all bottles are 10 ml / 0.34 fl oz)-White Musk: Clean, powdery, and quietly "handsome". I drained the whole bottle in under a month, used in everything from diffuser to room spray to a laundry scent booster.-Leather Wood: Earthy wood with a light sweetness. Great for layering with white musk.-Oud Tabac: Dark resin blended with sweet tobacco. A bit too intense personally.-Dark Rum: Warm spices in a hint of molasses. Not my favorite due to "sweetness" scent.-Aqua Celeste: Cool citrus and watery ozone. Fresh but not overly strong. Reminds me of "light" colognes.-Sandalwood: Creamy, subtle, and easygoing. Ideal for baths (mixed with epsom salt), or lotions.What I Loved:-White Musk feels like a boutique cologne in oil form.-The set avoids cliché “men’s” notes and instead leans refined and woody.-Packaging is really well designed, sleek and gift-ready. (Packaging design is one of the reasons I love Folkessence!)Why 4 Instead of 5 Stars:1. Bottle size. Ten milliliters disappears quickly when a scent is this good. A 30 ml option, especially for White Musk, would be perfect.2. Didn't enjoy all of the scents, but that might just be a personal preference.3. Really the only collection geared towards men. While most of their products are gender neutral, I wish there were more "masculine" fragrances.Friendly Suggestions for Folkessence (If you guys read these):Please release a dedicated Musk, or even more Masculine (cologne) collections in larger bottles, roll-ons, candles, and incense sticks (I love incense and the White Musk from their "5 Elements of Nature" pack was incredible).-Improve bottle tops for easier use. Some of the bottles made it difficult to get the oil out and I would have to shake it (A LOT) for a few drops. On the other hand some of them released too quickly... so something to address both issues.Final Thoughts:This set introduced me to a musk that feels both modern and comforting. I would repurchase if Folkessence offers larger bottles or a cologne-styled line. Until then, I will keep pairing Leather Wood with White Musk for an easy custom blend and use the others when I want a quick change of atmosphere.

I bought the moonshine set and am very happy with it. All of the scents are amazing, but my favorites are Cupid's Elixir (mandarin and rosemary), Dream Weaver (palo santo and sandalwood), and Mystic Miracles (amber and smoke). I would buy a giant bottle of Mystic Miracles if it was available - it smells like a gorgeous spa or upscale hotel. Keep in mind what you smell in the bottle is going to differ slightly when it's diluted in a diffuser with water (and the power will vary based on how much oil you add). I like to run my diffuser while I have a couple candles in complementary scents burning (like vanilla cashmere or lavender and amber) - it makes my whole apartment smell cozy, fresh, and warm. I will definitely be trying some of the other sets too!

I really like like all these but Mystic Miracles (Amber & Smoke) is the best hands down. No contest. I want to bathe in this stuff and everything around me to smell like this all the time! If they sold it by the gallon id be the first in line. Seriously if anyone over at Folkulture reads this review id like to know how to get my hands on as much Mystic Miracles as possible. It’s intoxicating.🤤
