Bought this on the way home from Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon! Just had to see it again. It arrived the day after and we watched it that night!

Understanding it's a classic that gets referenced so often, I decided to finally watch this movie that was released before I was born. It very quickly became one of my favourite films. A movie deserving of the hype and reputation it has. Two incredible actresses portraying a real strong sisterhood, and the idea of oppressed women getting the upperhand right to the very end. I loved every minute of it.

Saw the film on tv. My neighbours call my friend and I Thelma and Louise because we're often out and about in her convertible with the top down. She hadn't seen the film so I bought her the DVD. I'm assuming the DVD is the same as the film, enjoyable.

Love this classic movie, great value.

A must have in the collection

I kept hearing that this was a seminal film,marking the beginning of a new Women's empowerment era however,I must have come to it too late.I found it diffi-cult to watch and squirmed at the attempted rape scene.Later in the film I just couldn't identify with the behaviour of the two women.I couldn't watch the whole movie,it just wasn't what I wanted to watch.I guess it was just too dated to appeal to me now.Still,at least I now know what other people are referring to,and that helps me understand their conversations better.Ooh ooh,I do like the Jeez Louise bit though,now That was worth buying the DVD for.That also helps me understand conversations better too.There might be other good stuff in the film later on too but I just can't force myself to see it,sorry.
