These butterflies are AWESOME and so much fun
These butterflies are AWESOME and so much fun. I send them in birthday cards or a just thinking about you card and have had the GREATEST response from family and friends as they call me laughing. They loved how the butterfly came flying out and it was such an incredible surprise. Almost everyone loves BUTTERFLIES . Has Santa patterned buttflies just like the cheaper ones
I bought this set even though it was more expensive than another set because reviewers on the other set mentioned it had non-butterfly patterns. Luckily only one of the 8 is santa clauses. The rest are pretty butterfly patterns. However, they don't fly off the card - just sort of flutter up about an inch or two. Still kinda cute, hence the 3 stars.

Nice Idea, but the Execution is Lacking
I LOVE the idea of a butterfly flittering out of a greeting card. The reality is that they frighten the person holding the card, and function more as a flapping joy buzzer. It's fun, and kids love it. But, it didn't have the effect that I had hoped for.

My husband got me this to put inside my birthday card this year and it scared the crap out of me. But my kids truly enjoyed playing with it after!!!

Not worth it
Tried a few of these, had to twist them a lot and some didn’t work too well, while others didn’t work at all because the rubber bands snapped
