Almost a perfect experience trying it out.
The light doesn't seem cheap. But when I charged it and turned it on, one of the four sides would not turn on. I was so bummed out. I tapped the light, and all sides started working. I cycled it a few times and had to tap it again but now they all turn on the first time. Seems like there was a loose connection. I hope it's not a reoccurring issue.

Must have for camping
If you are an outdoor person you should have this! Works so well and the lens cover option are super easy to switch out. Really good battery life. Makes camping, cooking at night so much better.

Devos LightRanger: A Must-Have for Camping and Home Projects
I initially bought the Devos LightRanger for camping, and it quickly became one of our must-have items. The lamp extends up to 8 feet, casting a wide beam that’s perfect for outdoor use. Its battery life is impressive, lasting through the night when dimmed for late-night nature calls. We’ve also found it indispensable around the house. Whether for projects, painting, or providing extra light for early morning BBQs, the LightRanger is our go-to light for everything.I’m so impressed with this lamp that my next purchase will be the Devos mini tripod, replacing the Coleman propane lantern we’ve been using for over 20 years. I absolutely love this lamp and wouldn’t hesitate to buy a second or even a third.

Let there be light!
This thing puts out a ton of light and is perfect for camping. We also use inside for house projects when we don’t have enough light for various other reasons.

It's pretty sweet.
I would buy another one or the other brighter ones in a heartbeat. Charges easy, setup is easy, super compact, and I love the 180° light when you don't need the full lantern lighting. If your thinking about getting a light like this, this is the brand you want.

Does Not Provide 800 Lumines At Brightest Setting - Product Returned for Refund
My wife and I purchased the Devos Ranger 1200 Kickstarter pledge. We have been very, very happy with that light and it has served us well.We thought this would be a good light, based on that experience. We were wrong. At full charge, this light on the brightest setting only shown 663 Lumines when measured through a photometer. After 30 seconds it dropped to 579 Lumines. After ten minutes the light dulled to 439 Lumines.Compared to the Ranger 1200, this performance is just not acceptable. I don't know if they've used a new manufacturer or what, but it's made me reconsider buying another Ranger 1200, which we had planned to do.Happy Shopping!
