- Actually a quite goods lens for the PRICE. Relatively well made - mostly metal, easy to use manually. I didn't find any MAJOR fault with this objective. Lighter than expected. Came with right mount - Sony E. Also package was delivered VERY fast from U.S. to Finland which was a good thing. The outer box was handled carelessly, but the original internal was intact. Bag and lens hood were included nicely. Individually, I don't have any trouble recommending this lens for manual shooters. -

Everything is soft, it is DEFINITELY the lens; possibly been dropped and resold. Even silhouettes, at every aperture, regardless of ISO and shutter speed. It's not even tack sharp ANY time. That's zero functionality, a WASTE of money.

Good quality

Gives a great look, shot on a APS-C lens so it really shot more around 135mm. Lens really struggled to get sharp images at 1.8. Pretty disappointed

the lens is amazing for the price that it is. It isn't as tacked sharp as some other lenses are, but the softness is amazing for portraits. It does get a bit of a glare in direct sunlight, so you will want to purchase a CPL and or UV filter to help reduce that glare down. I use the this lens in low light situations for events. Often it gives a fun artistic view of your subject.

The lens is fully capable of some nice and very easy bocah, however simply packing it in my bag, flying to another state, and simply turning the FN ring, I hear a slight plastic snap noise, and suddenly the lense is barely hanging on together.... focuses when pushed together, but FN ring is shot. Advice when buying this budget lens, get as much as you can out of it before it cracks.

I got the product first come in is wrong size. Not fit with my camera, but after I contact the Amazo, the seller respond almost immediately and try to find out which part got mess up. And comfirmed it's their problem with out any question. And I recieved the new one couple days later. And fit my camera and any thing runs good. But before your purchase this lens,be aware that this lens is OEM one and NO AUTO FOCUS function. Even the camera will not reconize your new lens. So, make sure you change your camera setting to not to detect lens or you'll not able to use it on your camera even the mount is fit. But on me, I don't use auto focus a lot, so it's fit my needed and after couple shot, looks pretty good for me so I like it.

Packaging wasn't great and manual focus takes a bit of time to get used to but I love the images it creates!

They sent me a replacement with the correct mount after things got mixed up at the amazon warehouse. I'm surprised with the amazing quality of the lens for such a low price! Solid metal body, smooth adjustments with soft clicks on the aperture ring. CRYSTAL CLEAR images, and I absolutely love the focal range. I think I'll get some amazing portrait shots with this lens. I'm not sure why people are complaining about the quality, don't listen to the negative reviews, this is truly a quality lens! Looking forward to buying more Benoison products. This lens outperforms a couple of Sony lenses I bought this year in terms of image quality. I'm just super happy with this lens.
