I’ve been using this DIYMAG 2 in (50 mm) magnet for several weeks, and overall it’s a solid heavy-duty retrieval tool. What could be improved: -Weight & Handling: Because it’s quite powerful, it’s also a bit heavy — beginners may need a moment to adjust when pulling in larger or awkward scraps. +Real-World Pull Force: While advertised as 350 lbs, actual pull strength depends heavily on surface material and contact area. In many real scenarios, the effective holding weight is significantly lower — but still very strong for its class. Overall: This magnet is a solid choice if you want a heavy-duty retrieval tool for workshop cleanup, magnet fishing, or picking up nails and hardware. It’s strong, well-built, and worth its price if you need high-power magnetic pickup.

I had a large number of audio cassette tapes that needed to be erased before disposal. The number of tapes involved made recording over the contents of each tape impractical. I wasn't sure that magnetic erasure of a tape's entire contents would be possible with just a few passes of the magnet over the tape, but it worked perfectly with this powerful magnetic. The low cost of this magnet made this a very cost-effective method of erasing the tapes. Thanks for solving this problem for me for around $10.00.

The magnet is very strong. With the strong pulling power it is hard to remove if you get it stuck on an object. It worked perfectly for me finding a small screw that I lost in the grass and picking up a bolt that I dropped and couldn’t reach.

This item is strong, durable, and lightweight. The Magnetism is VERY strong Don't be confused by its size (however) —it's smaller than or just at the size of your palm. Although it is very strong, if you want a larger size, be sure to check the specs for a bigger diameter. Of course you should know that the larger you get the price will go up but the more Greater the Magnetization will be And be careful cause it literally will pull stuff through your clothes or hook on to stuff from your pockets or purse that your wife may take from you 😁👍🏽
