Oven Bright Oven Cleaning Kit

I specifically selected the item from the image as the image iwas of the old package ovenbrite product (dark blue bar bottom 3rd of box) however a new package ovenbrite product was sent and the contents are different. The gloves in the original product were decent tight fitting latex gloves the ones in the new packaging kit are the flimsy loose fitting plastic film type that do not last the length of time needed to clean the oven. The bag for the oven racks is also inferior quality. Not sure if the solution is the same but it didn't seem as effective as the old version. I have a double oven and used the kits one week apart (one on each oven) so was able to make this direct comparison...the old packaged kit is superior.

This is an excellent product. Sadly it failed to arrive in a timely manner from the seller (received 9 days after order was placed) and as my oven was in such desperate need of cleaning I purchased the product again from my local supermarket (only 50p more expensive). I followed the overnight instructions and was amazed how easily the shelves came up sparkling. No need to spend ages scrubbing, just washed them clean in hot, soapy water. The oven itself was harder to clean and the gel does create an excess which was tricky to get out. I could have spent longer cleaning the inside of the oven but I really wanted it considerably cleaner than it was and to be able to use it again without it smoking and burning so I got the desired result without too much effort. Very good product that I would purchase again, albeit not from this seller due to the poor delivery timescale.

Cleaning the oven isn't top of anybody's enjoyable job list, but since I can't justify having it cleaned every few months professionally, this product is a very capable second best. The spray on stuff in my experience just doesn't work, however this stuff goes on easily and wipes off later with no fuss, leaving a new looking oven behind. The tarnished stained trays and wire racks all go in the supplied plastic bag and all come out looking equally brand new without any effort on my part.I'm not conservative with the supplied cleaning fluid, but there's always plenty to do the oven and invariably a bit left over to clean the parts on the gas hob.Does exactly what it says on the box.

I bought this thinking it was made by the same company who make Hob Brite etc. as their products are very good. It wasn't, but made by another company I'd never heard of.Bottle was half empty (330ml?) and required the whole bottle to clean racks not half as suggested and still they are not fully clean.I won't be buying this again. Not impressed.

Very good product, I put the racks into the plastic bag and left them for about 5 hours. All I did was wash them under the tap they were gleaming I never had to even use a scourer.The oven came out well except the top of oven which was well baked on could not get all the product off even leaving it 5 hours and even tried wire ball to clean.Would definitely buy this product again, and recommend excellent value for money.I used to find doing the oven a nightmare, now it is a piece of cake!

The kit works well. The bag for the racks is strong and watertight, the sponge the right type and easily cleaned; most importantly it really works. the grime comes of and the oven shines. If you are expecting to use no elbow grease at all then you may find it doesn't quite reach all the corners of the racks or the very baked on bits on the oven first go, but with a little bit of work and a little more cleaner they come off easier than just scrubbing.I love anything that makes my life easier!

Not one to wax lyrical about cleaning products....hey high five I cleaned the oven, however this stuff actually works. Pour the stuff into the ziploc bag provided, pop the grill trays, seal and slosh it about a bit...leave a for a while and hey presto the burnt on stuff has all disappeared into a brown sloppy gloop in the bag. A few spots remained on the trays but with a wipe of a cloth those came off too. Cheap as chips and works. What is not to like!

This does what it says on the tin, My oven I'm ashamed to say was very mucky - its a self clean oven but the trays were black instead of silver, this product returned them to there original colour. Not too messy, just pop on the gloves put the trays in the bag & add the liquid, make sure you shake to bag. I put the bag in the garden for the day whilst out shopping & it was all sorted on my return. Just wash and return shelves to the oven.Perfect
