This is really very good, I think, for non-oversized books (although it copes with a really thick paperback). Don't be put off by the "novelty" sense of this design if you want this for serious study purposes. It is simply designed and made as well as attractive, and it packs away nicely for transporting too.

It is smaller than I thought looking at the Amazon pictures. Can use but at age 94 a bit tricky with iPad and books. No dimensions given. Best wishes John.

First of all, this product is not what I expected. But that is entirely my fault for not reading the description carefully enough. Nonetheless, I do feel that some of the (paid!) reviews are a little misleading, especially those that say it is perfect for large/heavy books (see below). I was certainly not paid for this review, by the way.This product is nicely designed and perfectly good for books that are not too large, and for iPads (or small tablets). The 'product dimensions' listed in the description do not describe the product — it is wider than 16cm. Dimensions of the book rest part are as follows: Width 18.5, Height 16, Depth 3. The height of the whole product depends on the angle that you set it up at.It is fairly well made and nicely finished, although it is very lightweight. Cute as it is, it is not quite worth the price, in my view, but it is by no means a rip-off. It really depends what you want it for. For paperbacks and iPads, it's great. What it is not good for is large, fairly heavy, A4 sized books. In other words, the kind of books that you might want a stand for! Also, because the 'back' of the stand is only 16 cm high, it would not be much good for holding flimsy documents as they would bend over.With hindsight, I would not have bought this. But as I have said above, there's nothing wrong with the product per se. Just think carefully about what you want to use it for.

HAD LOADS OF HASSLE WITH THE DELIVERY AND WHEN IT ARRIVED IT WAS A LOT SMALLER THAN THE IMAGE PORTRAYED
