I wanted an inner door lock as I am a student and solo traveller, and I move frequently between home and term addresses. Therefore, this portable lock is highly valuable when I am unable to add an additional lock to select doors. I use this product to ensure privacy and safety. For example, this product prevents other people from entering your room even with a key during room viewings, or alternatively, an added layer of protection while you are in your room at night whether traveling or at home. Due to its portable nature, I believe the product could be used on bathroom or restroom doors in addition to bedroom doors.To use, simply insert the prong or hook inside the door and then close the door. After this stage, you need to slide the semi-circle into the main latch then gently push down. The semi-circle has a small indent which secures the mechanism. I have found it is easier to use the elastic band on the latch when closing the door.I purchased the inner lock for around £3, and its proven to be good value for money. As the inner lock is stainless steel, the product is also sturdy and long lasting. The inner lock arrives with a silver pouch for storing the product, but it's convenient size enables it to be carried inside a bag.Overall, this product aids the protection of privacy and helps to avoid theft. I would recommend this product to others.

I was a bit skeptical about the product before as it looks flimsy. However when I tried to put it on the door, it was easy to use and the different slots allow you to adjust the lock to your door. It is solid and it does the job. I do notice it wont work (fit) if the clearance between the frame and door is too small.

I was expecting a longer and bigger object, but is small, light and the metal is study. I have tested it on the entrance door of my house and is unbreakable. A remarkable tool for solo travellers looking for an extra “feel more safe” support! Comes with a pouch! Definitely going to pack it on the next adventure. Buy confidently, no doubts!

Not the best, a bit fiddly to use and hard to get the door open sometimes (when I want to that is lol). It’s rudimentary and will do for now but I’ll go back to the screw closure type.

I have been staying in Travelodge Hotel rooms for quite some time and have had a few unsettling experiences with staff entering my room without knocking. I recently installed this 4th type of door lock that I have tried and I am happy to report that it is by far the best one yet. The first 3 would not fit the door.The door lock is simple to use and seems very secure. I was able to easily install it myself and I am thankful to have some peace of mind knowing that staff cannot walk right in. The value for money I received with this door lock was a pleasant surprise.Thank you to for providing a reliable door lock that I can trust.
