Skinomi Screen Protector Compatible with Google Pixel 8 (2-Pack) Clear TechSkin TPU Anti-Bubble HD Film

I literally will die if she can only only screensavers get discontinued or this company goes out of business. I will be lost with no idea what to do to protect my devices. They are absolutely the best I have ever used and I’ve used them for over a decade, which is crazy smart phones aren’t even that old. 100% recommended I mean this seriously too.

I am so impressed with this screen protector! I protected my Pixel 8 with this Skinomi Screen Protector and a Spigen Liquid Air Armor case. I was rappelling down a cliff and my phone fell out of my pocket 40 feet off the ground. The phone bounced off the rock face halfway down and landed right in the small creek at the bottom (of course!). Panicked, I retrieved my phone out of the water and found that there was no damage to phone or screen other than a small scratch on one corner of the case. Both the screen protector and the case far exceeded my expectations! (also kudos to pixel for a truly water resistant phone - it works great even after its swim)

I have used Skinomi film screen protectors before on several phones. This is the worst sizing I have ever seen. There is much to wide a gap all around the phone. I have 4 difference cases. No matter which case there is a sizable gap all around the phone. Literally looks like Scotch tape on the screen. Didn't even keep it on my phone for a day. I find it hard to believe this is a film for the pixel 9/9 pro.

I will say it was neither easy nor hard. I had a little bit of trouble lining it up, and by the time I got it on it wasn't wet enough anymore. If it's not wet enough, you end up with bubbles that can't squeegee out. I carefully peeled it back re-wetted it, and it went on perfectly. If there's enough liquid, the bubbles will squeeze right out. Once it's adhered, it's great! Completely invisible. My only issue was that the spray liquid was kind of musty smelling. I think it sat on the shelf too long. But it wasn't a big deal. It's just water with a drop of soap, so you can make your own if you have any problems.

I used to buy another brands screen protector back in the galaxy S2/3/4 days, but they stopped producing them as the tempered glass protectors took off. I personally hate the glass protectors because they just never go on right. I prefer these plastic sticky feel ones. While this is not the same brand I used to buy, it's literally the same thing and exactly what I was looking for. I'm so glad I found these, I swear nobody made these anymore. Protector went on super easy and has zero bubbles! The texture is also exactly what I wanted.

I followed all the instructions and even repeated the installation multiple times, with lots of spraying, but I just couldn't get all the bubbles out. Aligning it was easy because you have time to shift it around before it's stuck in place. Maybe I'll take it to Best Buy to install when it's time to replace this one.This screen protector also peels up on the edges occasionally, but thankfully it's easy to press back down. I do think it's protecting my screen well and I like the "self healing" thing where it sort of settles into any scratches to fill them in.This is the first time I've tried a TPU film screen protector and I understand why people prefer the feel of the tempered glass ones. This thing makes my screen feel sticky. It gets dirty really easily and doesn't wipe off well, even with just sweat.

Great screen protectors that help with touch precision and cuts down on glare. I've owned Zagg skins a few time which are probably the best out there but are very pricey. This is a great alternative for about 1/4 the price!

This screen protector was for the larger Pixel 8a not the 8. The box is labeled Pixel 8. So to use it for the 8 it has to be the width and length has to be cut to fit the 8. I'm going to send it back.
