The Ove Glove - Superior Heat & Flame Hand Protection - Pack of 2 Oven Mitts

Oh. My. Heavens. These gloves are one of my best purchases EVER! I’ve never owned oven GLOVES before and almost bought a less expensive pair, but I decided to go w the originals which, btw, are made in America/NJ! When I got them I thought they might be too large as I have an average sized female hand, but they work just fine for me. Also, there is no R/L glove - they’re 360 insulated with grippers on both sides. And they’re insulated to 500°+. LOVE THESE! These gloves would make a great gift for anyone who uses their oven (some people don’t, you know!).

My mom bought a pair of these 20 or so years ago when they first came out and they've always been the go to oven mit. She accidentally threw into the trash and was devastated, luckily they're here on Amazon. Why are these the best oven mits? 1. Ive never gotten burned, other oven mits are too thin or the material just can't with stand the heat causing you to get burned. With these on you can barely feel the heat. 2. Dexterity, traditional oven mits have you placing your fingers into a protected pocket and your thumb in its own compartment but that makes it difficult to grab things, especially different shaped oven and pie dishes. The last thing you want to do is accidentally stick the thumb of your oven mit into your food. 3. These will last you forever. They are so durable that you really won't need to replace them any time soon. My mom worked as a baker and has done an incredible amount of cooking, these gloves and always got the job done. My only wish is that they had some fun colors or looked a bit cuter. They've got a Mickey mouse meets master hand vibe.

I had ignored the Ove Glove for quite a while as I was annoyed by all the advertisement. However, the Ove Glove is actually great! It is not bulky and it protects my hand while handling a hot pan or lid. The size is perfect as it allows for protection of fingers, palms, and wrists as well as accommodates multiple hand sizes. One would not want an oven mitt to fit tightly as it would not provide protection — the same is true for the Ove Glove. It is great that the Ove Glove comes as a pair as this is economical as well as necessary for removing hot pans from the oven. I am pleased by my purchase of the Ove Glove, and I highly recommend the Ove Glove.

This oven glove is simply the best. It isn't bulky and inflexible like those mitt-shaped products. It is flame-resistant, and as long as you don't get it wet while using to lift something hot, you'll never have a problem. We're careful when we lift lids on boiling pots for that reason of not wanting to get it wet, but other than that, it's the perfect kitchen glove. We've even slipped it over a frying pan's handle that just came out of the oven to remind us that it's hot! It's quality has increased after a dip a while back, but it now fits my husband's big hands and it works for me too. It can be a tiny bit tight at first but you just need to put it on and work your hand through making a fist a few times and touching thumb to each finger, and it quickly loosens up the weave almost immediately.

I love these! They are protective of my hands from heat, plus they have silicone to help me grip pans. So much better than the old ones I've used for years!

Ever since my sister hooked me up with these i can not work in the kitchen without them. They are great.

I bought this for the wife that kept burning her hands on pots and pans taking him out of the oven they work really well but they run a little small I have a hard time getting my hands into him but they work perfect for her. They have rubber on them which grips really well and does not let you drop whatever you're trying to pick up.

got these because regular potholder mitts were combersome, I should have gotten these years go. Better grip, easy to wear, don't burn yourself, fit in a drawer easier, and washing them is easy and quick.

I have had these before. In fact, I still have the original one after eight years. These are NOT the genuine article. They do not grip correctly at the silicon interface of the thumb. I assume they are a Chinese knockoff.
