Powerful book!

Excellent edition, it is clearly evident in the text that the authors have extensively researched this classical text. The paper is also extremely good quality and the introduction to the work is insightful. A great edition to any occult library and is a great companion to the works of Agrippa. There are spells in the book and if you can get hold of human brains you may be able to make a sleeping potion! The astrological and historical knowledge in this book is however invaluable. As with any personal occult library you pick the wheat from the chaf, which is why you have to collect all the magical texts you can. I would definitely recommend. Happy reading. Blessings.

Great condition, looking forward to reading

Definitely of no interest to the layman, this book is incredibly detailed and requires a lot of prior knowledge of astronomy and astrology, not to mention various other subtle influences. I'm currently trying to find another book which can help me understand THIS book! This being said I feel it is important for us to try to obtain, understand and pass this on so that it is not forgotten or lost to time.

This is one of the most recognized Grimoires, especially of astrological magic and correspondences. It is certainly a 'must have' text for any esotericist with a serious library collection. However, it is not a recipe book and you cannot just choose something and work through it hoping for a result. However, if you are intent on extending your astrological correspondences, a very useful thing to do, then you will find this book most helpful, as well as an interesting read in itself.

If the modern pagan/new age fluffy people want to know what magic is really like, then get yourselves a copy of this book. Even with the changes that time brings about, you can learn a lot about the ruthless and amoral attitude without which anyone claiming to be a magician is not the charlatan they should be, but a mere self-deluded fraud.

Curiosity purposes but reminded myself i am to lazy to read . So first time book arrived i was so intriggued by it that i read 30 pages first time and then did not had time for it

Ero dubbiosa su che libro comprare, ma devo ammettere che non sono delusa. Anche se è un opera economica l'autore ha cercato di evidenziare le cose per lui fondamentali rimuovendo e però altre che forse era meglio lasciare dove erano. Nel complesso opera molto valida. Sarebbe migliore se la traduzione fosse letterale. Grazie Amazon per la consegna veloce.

This is a one of a kind, must have book. It's super complicated. You'll have to take time to read and study everything first before you are able to do any of the works properly. But it's worth it. I would say priceless.

No illustrations. Just a novel of words. I'm missing the illustrations because so much can be infered or supported from symbolism/imagery. I see there is a separate book with illustrations but I wonder what would be missing, in relation to written portions, and wonder why the books are sold separately. Profits? Options for those who are visual vs otherwise? Not looking for a novel when it comes to my spiritual journey... Not for me I guess.

As a book of magic, this is an ancient grimoire. Unlike most grimoire's, this presents ideas from Arab's magical tradition and is largely magic using astrology - on the understanding occult power comes from the heavens and talismans and magical acts require the stars to be in proper alignment. As a Chaos Magician, but also many modern magicians, this astrological paradigm stands in sharp contrast compared to magical concepts that magic comes from human beings and/or their psychology. As a truly different paradigm, as a wonderful piece of history - this book is AWESOME!
