By far the best way to buy sunflower hearts, they dont seed and the birds love them. I bought some dog food plastic bins and I store them in the garage rather than leaving them in the sacks as the last thing you want is a vermin problem. Ive ordered the seeds at least 6 times now and it always arrives as expected and well packaged although they are heavy so make sure you take care when you lift them.Great value and no mess!

These sunflower hearts are of good quality, and the best food for garden birds at any time of year but especially when there’s snow on the ground. Hang up a feeder or two and watch! Maltby’s Stores also understand what customer service should be. I contacted them because there was a delivery problem, and received a prompt assurance from them (on a Saturday!) that they would chase up the matter up, which they did - delivery received the same day. Highly recommended.

since buying maltbys sunflower hearts i have more birds than ever before .14 in one sitting .12 are gold fnches and great tit blue tit and today monday a woodpecker red spotted one , he has come previous years but never fed on the other brands of sunflower hearts ,in the last 3 years.so i am thrilled .i have two wire long feeders i a very long 6 perchs 1 short perch and a house that ll birds go in,even a squirrel gets all you can see is his tail,we have to fill all of these every other day.,we are so lucky,we can see all of this ,within a metre of my bedroom window,where i am sitting now.MALTBYS are good price and quick delivery and nice strong non plastic bag THANK YOU MALTBYS

Good seeds at a good price. Reliable quality.

Nothing to dislike. The finches, sparrows, tits, are the main visitors, occasional woodpecker. As well as other occasional visitors. The birds keep coming all day.

This is my 3rd or 4th purchase of these sunflower seeds - the garden birds absolutely love them! I put out sunflower seeds, fat-balls and peanuts and the sunflower seeds go at least 3-times as quickly as everything else.They are delivered in a really sturdy sack and have been consistently good quality. I'm yet to find anywhere that comes close to price at this volume.

These are good quality and excellent value.Only fault is how they are bagged. They come in a paper sack inside a box. The trouble is the sack is sealed in a way which makes opening it a mystery. If you’ve ever opened a bag of cement you’ll know what I mean. I cut top open and put the entire sack into old plastic compost bag.Apart from that I would recommend strongly as this is a very good product.

I bought this on 17 Nov 2019. I am writing this review on 13 Nov 2020.Sack arrived well packaged in a watertight sack inside a woven sack. I put it in a plastic bag. The sack has a bakery label on the side.I didn't even know what a Green Finch was until I started using this seed. My garden has too many Gold Finches to count, a couple of Nut Hatches and yesterday there were seven Blacbirds all argueing over control of the garden at one time. This seed has definately made a difference in my garden! I have reordered again. I am using much more of the sunflower hearts as it is winter.The little peckers adore it! We have the gregariuos goldfinches, bluetits, greenfinches, sparrows, dunnocks etc... Pigeons and doves can sit on a branch and awkwardly feed - they'd take the lot if they could. It's relaxing to watch them feed - your own attenborough moment.
