I ran a 50 for HDMI and a 20 footer interconnected HDMI using KabelDirekt HDMI Adapter, Female to Female (4K, 1080p, 3D, ARC, HDCP, Highspeed with Ethernet) - Top Series purchased at Amazon. The video was poor so I removed the HDMI adapter (also form Kable Direct) and replaced it with this repeater which did clear up the video but the TV would incorrectly allow me to change the volume using its remote as opposed to the Marantz 5013 AV receiver. To me this means that the repeater was not processing the (Audio Return Channel) ARC correctly. Once I removed the repeater this stopped and the TV (Samsung 8k 9000 R series) properly showed that the AV receiver was in control of the volume if I tried to use the TV's remote for volume control. The HDMI cables I used were purchase on Amazon and were "4K HDMI Cable, HDMI Cord (50 feet HDMI to HDMI, Top Series) supports (4K@60HZ, 1080p FullHD, UHD, Ultra HD, 3D, High Speed with Ethernet, ARC, HDTV) by KabelDirekt

I got this to extend the HDMI cable for my Oculus Rift. I can confirm that it works exceptionally well for this, but annoyingly this is female-to-female, so I also had to purchase a male-to-male HDMI adapter (I purchased/recommend this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017VUVGE0/)This completely eliminated the black screen issue on my Rift when using HDMI/USB extensions. This is a must-have if you play room-scale VR. I docked 1 star for being female-to-female, but functionally I can't find any faults, it just works. I attached it inline with my setup, and just wrapped everything with electrical tape. Zero issues in 2 weeks so far. I'll update this review if I start having problems with it.

I use two of these and I will always order this coupler when I need to extend HDMI. I use one to extend my Oculus Rift HDMI cable around 25 feet. It does the job perfectly. My other extenders had major problems since the Oculus has very high bandwidth demand over the HDMI cable, but this one handles the job so great! Will have no problems ordering more of these as needed.

I'm not sure what it is, but there are occasionally connection issues that are only solved by plugging the output into a different input on my TV. I'm pretty sure it's the TV, not the extender, but it's impossible to be sure atm.It feels cheap and there's no indicator on it. Does not support HDR from my experience.

Great in a pinch, but when I connected it to the setup I have, there was a sound sync issue that made it impossible to want to use. Picture was also very grainy with lots of noise. I substituted for the amazon brand female-female HDMI connector and all issues were resolved. Again, that’s just my experience with the setup I have. (3 TVs with a powered splitter and 20’ of HDMI cable between source and splitter. Additional 20’ between splitter and TVs)

Didn't work, had to return it. Wound up going with a WONDERFUL HDMI over Ethernet set up..now that's PERFECT!

I have 50 feet of HDMI cable from my Dish network (Joey) HDMI connection. I have great reception with the 50 feet. I tried to extend my HDMI cable by another 10 feet. There is no signal with this product.

This worked exactly as expected. I have a TV on the wall in my office at work and needed a 25' and 20' cable up in the ceiling together to reach my computer at my desk to use this as a presenting monitor. It works perfectly.
