The original nylon band on one of my Fossil watches was a pale bluish grey, which looked great... until it got dirty of course. Yes, it's washable but only gets dirty again fairly quickly due to hand lotion, stuff like that. So eventually I stopped wearing it. Then it dawned on me... duh, I can easily replace the band. I went back to Fossil. $30 for a new nylon band!! And they didn't have much of a selection, mostly other light colors. I was like, screw that. I'll look on Amazon. I measured the old band, 14mm, and it turned out, that's not a common size to find. Lots of 16mm, 18mm, etc. Finally found this band, the right size, definitely a better price, and dark blue is my favorite color... perfect! It arrived on time, well packaged, exactly the right color and size. There's just one thing I wish I could change. Look at the photo, see how the buckle is flat? It's very thin and flat, so it's kind of difficult to get the band under the second part, when you get past the little thing going in the hole. It's a tight fit and if I didn't have long nails it'd be even more difficult to wiggle the band under there to pull it through. That said, for the price I'm pleased with the purchase, but the design could be better. Then again, if it were it would be higher priced.
