Bronte Glen Merino Wool Cosy Dog Bed, Medium

I'm really very impressed with this dog bed, i hardly ever write reviews for products, only if they really stand out. Okay so here's the story, have look all over the internet, various UK online stores selling dog beds, aswell as Amazon.I had read through alot of the reviews on Wolfybeds and although they did look good and would i been alright, i was ordering them for my mums whippets and wanted something more luxurious. As we all know the bed in stores such a pets at home are pretty poor and expensive for what they are.This was the complete opposite, the merino wool makes such a difference, all the seams etc are very well sewed, good strong zip on the main cushion.The filling is pretty much perfect, the right amount of give and very thick, i order a large size which is very big and gorgeous, the feel of the merino wool is pretty special, is very comparable to high quality sheepskin slippers, i found myself lying next to the dogs several times.To summarise and provide a more helpful review -- Very well stuffed with Ball Fibre that means it wont go flat- Very comfortable, tested by myself and two whippets who are glued to is like velcro- Very high quality inner and outer- The Merino wool is amazing, very luxurious and soft, well worth the extra money- Machine washable- Well made and high quality stiching- Very thick cushion and sides (the sides dont sag and are packed full of the same ball fibre)In my opinion this is the best dog bed i have seen, tried and certainly the best i have owned. My mums whippets have had Orvis beds in the past but this outdoes them anyday.As they say the proof is in the pudding and im about to order another one right now for my brothers dogs.I would reccomend you purchasing this as delivery was prompt, excellent customer service and if your not impressed (which you will be) and your dogs dont love it (which they Will!) then you can return it.Basically you cannot lost

My friend recommended this bed as her Black Labrador, Poppy had one & loved it. Our own Lab got to try it out before we bought one. Bonny loves her bed, it has plenty of space for her to spread out but she has also curled up with her chum & they've happily snored the afternoon away. This is a quality bed, the sides are soft & give a bit more room if your dog likes to sprawl. Will be buying a medium size one for the snug. Our dog is a year old, we've gone through 2 other 'superior' beds prior to the bronte & she has gradually trashed both of them. We've had this bed 4 months & it's as good as the day it arrived. It might cost a few pounds more than the average dog bed but I'd recommend the investment.

Good quality bed, great size. The colour probably isn't the best- white wool doesn't wear that well! :) My very big aging greyhound loves it, and tucks his nose into the sides.Delivery was a shambles though and I had to do a lot of waiting around and chasing. Following a complaint, Amazon did give me a £5 credit on my account, but given the hassle, and the cost of the bed, I was a little underwhelmed by the gesture!

My greyhound and lurcher love these beds. The cover washes well but am dubious about washing the inner cushions as they are quite fragile and two have split slightly and had to be stitched up - not sure they'd fare well in the washing machine. I have bought 2 beds and 2 mattresses and the inners on the later ones seem a bit better quality.

Excellent quality for the money as priced on Amazon. I love it and more important the dogs love them. Brought two, one for each dog.I got the large which was ample size for my Dandie Dinmont Terriers. Medium would have probably been large enough but I wanted the dogs to have a bit of space. Fortunately the dogs didn't take to chewing the beds although they are chewing and destroying most of there toys, there still at the puppy stage..

There's no doubt that my border collie gets a better quality sleep and rest on this bed. I'd like one for myself! The wool is relaxing and naturally warm. The structure is supportive and well padded. This bed would help elderly or arthritic animals too as it is so cosy. The cat likes it too. The price I paid was not much more than for a similar synthetic beds, but what a difference in the quality of wool.

My dog absolutely loves this bed. We had already bought the medium, which we gave to his younger brother.This bed is large and incredibly comfortable.Easy to get him to bed - and does not move all night!Also very robust, so should stand a bit of messing around.

I bought this for my dog, I live with two more dogs, as well, who all fight for a spot in the bed. They all love it so much. It looks great as well as it feels great, soon I will be fighting for a spot in that bed as well!
