I used PEA for back pain following an injury. It doesn't work immediately like painkillers do; you need to be consistent with it. Although I didn't take the entire recommended dose, it did ease my pain, allowing me to do mild strengthening exercises. I didn't experience any side effects.

These are supposed to be a softgel capsule but are as hard as a bullet and big. I find them really difficult to swallow, I'm sure the casing wasn't this hard on the last batch I ordered. I shall resort to cutting them and pouring them onto a meal. However, I think they help against some of my aches and pains which are caused by other medications I take.
