This stuff is amazing!
I’m a very active man so I’m always on the go relying on coffee to help push through the lunch breaks to meet deadlines and projects. From either the usual gym after work to training in combat sports or the weekend rides to the mountains on my Ducati Superbike. I’ve been searching for something that wouldn’t get my heart beating too hard causing anxiety but also deliver the strong focus and concentration that my career and personal life demands. Enter Genius Consciousness. I waited to try it before my usual Sunday rides in the twisty canyon roads in Southern California. I felt this would be a good experiment because on a sport bike, focus, concentration, calm, and confidence is needed to wrestle the machine into every corner and obstacle without causing a mistake which often leads to fatalities if not mitigated correctly. My usual ride on Sundays start at 8am. It’s usually a good 40 miles of twisties, corners, sweepers, and blind corners. So you’ll usually be on alert at all times as you navigate each turn by turn to not die. The key is to stay focused, relaxed, and ready to make corrections when needed at the split second. I usually ride within 60% of my mental limit to add a buffer of 10% in case I go aggressive. Speeds would be triple digits approaching a corner dropping to double, then back to triple digits upon exit. There isn’t any room for mistakes. The mind has to see every corner at that split second it is presented, and placing the bike on the ideal lean angle and trajectory to hit the apex and corner exit is crucial. Hit it too soon, you end up wide. Hit it late, you might panic brake or run out of asphalt causing a deadly crash. It needs to be entered just right. A good late apex with a very fast counter steer to set the desired trajectory through the apex and out to the widest part of the road all while staying smooth, calm, focused, and concentrated. Once this is consistent, the rider’s pace becomes faster without doing much. It’s not uncommon to be cornering a very tight corner set at 35mph at triple digit speed if done properly. Ok so back to the product. The packaging is the usual you’d see on every supplement. A box and then the small tub. I really do wish it had more than 15 servings for the price point. As we are monthly creatures of habit. Everything is done monthly. Including our bills. Genius, if you are reading this, consider increasing the serving size to 30 for that price. I just feel that the price is a little bit up there for the common folk to attain. The flavor. Now this tastes really nice and light. It’s almost like a melon which tastes cool and refreshing. Add some ice water and you are golden. Doesn’t even seem like you’re drinking a supplement. The ingredients. These have most of the popular nootropics that’s out in the market now. You can google each and read for yourself. It makes it easier to just take a serving from this product versus piece mealing it yourself. Price point. Like I stated earlier, it’s up there. The product is premium for sure but you can find similar ingredient for far less. But you pay for the quality and convenience. How it mixes. It mixes easily when added to water. Give it a good stir and sip. Some particles will show up but it’ll dissolve as you give it a good stir for 30 seconds. Ice water seems to make it taste fantastic. Now for the best part, how it makes me feel: This stuff is amazing! I usually take a caffeine pill to give me the boost and focus but this takes it to another level. I took my full scoop an hour before my ride. And around 15 minutes, you can start to feel that calm and confident energy begin to take over. You seem to focus on things but not stay fixated. It makes you think as if you are looking at it from many perspectives. It’s hard to explain. Usually, when I pin the throttle, anxiety would set in and I would back off from fear. But with this, I felt confident, calm, relaxed, and certain in my abilities. It’s feel as if I’ve done this before and today is just another minor day that I can’t handle if that makes sense. Every corner I took, I would enter it with higher speeds than before. But I noticed that I was very calm and confident on how to negotiate it fast and safely. It’s like I can see throughout every blind corner. And I can feel everything that my bike is doing. I can feel the tyre traction and it’s limits, the trajectory, the corner shape, the speed going in, my body’s positioning, deformations on the road that I automatically steer around, and how cool and calm I was in these stressful situations. I was also happier and amazed on how fast I was going. I was t sleepy. I wasn’t too wired. I was in the zone. I think that’s it. It helped me stay in the zone every athlete speaks of. Where everything just clicks and works. It feels like a meditation but I’m flying through the corners like a jet plane. Amazing!! Also, I notice that my usual problems that I have, I can see through it with the solution. Wth is this!?? Whatever it is, I like it!! They say we only use a small portion of our brain power to solve tasks and problems. With this stuff, it’s like I’m using my entire brain!! I understand situations with so much clarity and focus that anxiety and fear don’t even stand a chance distracting me. Bottom line. If you’re on the fence on trying this stuff, I highly recommend you do. It’s a bit costly but it’s so worth it. It has enhanced my riding skills and will continue to use it for my preworkouts and during stressful days at the office. Now I have my Genius powder. I’m Looking forward to opening new channels of creativity and levels of consciousness in my busy life.

Skeptical at first, but a beliver!
Okay so first off let me tell you about myself so you know that type of person that is writing this review and maybe it will help you. I hate amazon bots and fake reviews and before I ever buy anything I like to review everything, from ingredients to to about the company and other customer reviews. I don't like wasting money and I hope every purchase I make is worth it. In my opinion the negative reviews about this are due to shipping errors, your UPS guy isn't as good as mine and are from people that think this stuff makes you 'smarter'. Why I bought this. I'm in my late 20's and I don't think I need to say that because I don't think it matters because I have always had cognitive struggles, I have always scored low on any educational related subject from reading and understanding math. I always freeze up mid conversation because I tend to struggle on finding the word I am looking for, I always struggled with what I like to describe to as fog in my mind, I can read something and I understand the topic and the solution to the problem but for some reason it takes me a while to actually make the connection, its strange because I understand the solution and problem I just cant make that connection to understand it, that's why I'm awful at math and this may not make any sense to you, but if it does and your reading it please continue to read or just buy the stuff lol. I hated the thought of relying on some exterior source to help with any of that because of well.. pride. Now I like to think that I may not be book smart but I am street smart, I can figure out real life problems and I've been called smart for my solutions. Well recently I've decided to go get my bachelors and other IT certifications. that requires a lot of work that I struggled with. So i finally decided to put my pride aside and look for something that may help. I wasn't looking for a pill that unlocked 99% of my brain or made me smart, more of a focus that caffeine gives you but without the intense energy that makes you want to run. I found this and did my research. I tried it and boy it was life changing, I say that because I felt like it helped with something Ive always struggled and to make it comparable to a scenario think of it this way, you've always had a headache at least once a week in your life that lasted a day, you never took medicine and you did that for your entire life, then one day you discover ibuprofen and wow your life is now changed, you wont become the next CEO kind of change but you have a solution for a personal problem you always had. I can focus much easier on reading and studying and I can defiantly make connections a lot easier as well as pause less and less every day that comes by on conversations because I can find the words that I'm looking for a lot faster and the fog is pretty much gone! Now here is why I think it works for me better than some of the negative reviews, I take something that helps me focus and learn and actually use it to learn something, I can now study and improve rather than just taking it and expecting it to do something on its own. Its kinda like protein shakes, you don't need them and you cant get muscle just from taking them alone and doing nothing, you have to put work into it. I actually use this for when I game online because I think it helps me think and strategize on how to play rather than point and shoot. note that the taste isn't the best, but its just a bunch of vitamins, this is the original flavor and I don't know if they will ever enhance it, I personally don't mind it as much as others. I'm used to chalky bitter flavors plus I think its worth it. I will note that it tastes better after you brush your teeth and no this isn't a prank I just like to throw that out there and wonder if anyone else had the same 'WTH' moment. I hope my review helps and I know it was long. Also: if this doesn't help or work I think its because your not working out your brain and or because you may have some bigger issues such as ADHD, Alzheimer's or something that's a real issue and wold go ahead and get your self checked out by some one, this isn't a cure.

Genius consciousness is a fantastic nootropic that has the potential to be even better
Genius consciousness is a great product for anyone interested in focusing their mind and boosting energy levels. I used it only on days where I felt I needed to be extra sharp at work/school. I started with a half scoop for about the first 3-4 uses and then moved to a full scoop. Flavor is fine (that’s not why you’re taking it so I don’t really feel flavor is an important factor for me). I like to put a full scoop in 40 oz of water and sip on it all day. Keeps me focused throughout a full 12 hour work day. The first few times using it I felt noticeably more energized and more focused on tasks that needed to be accomplished. I also felt my memory recall was better as I was able to call upon past information more readily during work meetings and presentations. I've also noticed I've been a lot sharper when people ask questions or put me on the spot. There was no crash or jitters that you might experience with coffee. Only withdrawal effect was noticing myself become more sluggish and less sharp after the effects wore off (bizarre experience). My one, small complaint is that I quickly developed a tolerance for the product and never quite felt the effects as well as I did my first few times using it. However, it without a doubt gives a boost every time I use it. A boost that is a lot more dramatic than other products that are pill based. Here is a quick run through of the ingredients, their amounts and what they have been proven to do: Lion's Main Mushroom (extract of a natural fungi) : some studies (mainly on animal model organisms) have shown lion's main mushroom to improve neuronal growth, repair and increase overall cognitive function. Not many long term clinical trials have been tested on humans but its presumed to be quite safe and possibly beneficial. Alpha-GPC (Alpha Glycerylphosphorylcholine): Indirectly increases the levels of acetylcholine in the brain by transporting its precursor, choline, across the blood-brain barrier. Acetylcholine is one of the main neurotransmitters in the brain that promotes cognitive function. This is one of the main components in Genius Consciousness that boosts memory, focus, and processing. Tyrosine -- One of the 20 amino acids. Naturally produced in the body but its believed (also some clinical trials and studies) that supplementing with Tyrosine can boost levels of many brain chemicals such as Dopamine. This may help with staying focused in stressful situations. Caffeine/Methylberine -- Everyone knows this one. Caffeine is the main stimulant in Genius Consciousness. It operates by blocking adenosine (natural "sleep" neurotransmitters) receptors in the brain. Of course, nothing harmful about it but take note of the amount in each serving (100 mg -- 1 scoop) which is roughly a normal cup of coffee. Methylberine is a coffee extract and operates the same way as caffeine (50 mg) -- add another half cup of coffee. Huperzine A -- plant extract that turns off the enzyme that degrades excess build up of acetylcholine (see above). This can really accentuate the affects of Alpha GPC. My suggestion is to take 2 days off from genius consciousness to let normal neurotransmitter levels recover. Phosphotidylserine -- fatty lipid substance that covers/coats your brain cells. Crucial component for brain function and quick neuronal response for signaling/processing. It has been shown to help Alzheimer's patients and elderly individuals with declining mental abilities but not many studies have been done to show if it generally improves mental ability. It can't hurt but I'm not sure it's doing as much for people with otherwise normal cognitive functions. A few ingredients in Genius Consciousness are a bit questionable. Acetyl-carnitine boosts lipid/fat breakdown. Not sure what sort of benefits it has for cognition if any. Green coffee bean extract (neurofactor / coffea arabica) - has small traces of caffeine but otherwise may or may not stimulate appetite and metabolism. Not many studies and this is easily the least supported ingredient on the list for improving brain function. Astragin -- two root extracts mixed together. Contains several amino acids and vitamins that may or may not boost energy levels. Not clear on what is exactly contained in these extracts. Not much studies or evidence supporting them. Overall I think Genius Consciousness is a great product that definitely boosts focus, energy and memory. After breaking down the ingredients I think the blend can be improved even further. Vitamin B-12, Theanine, Creatine,Ginkgo Biloba, and Rhodiola Rosea are all supplements that could really make this product the best in the market.

Works really well but oy, the taste!
Update: I just discovered (at age 60, mind you) that my terrible brain fog is in large part due to ADHD —-a brand new diagnosis. I am not the least hyper, but have huge issues with memory, focus, planning, organizing, motivation, energy, learning, mental sharpness. (what they call executive functions). Turns out there is an explosion of middle aged women now being diagnosed with ADHD for the first time in their lives. If this sounds like you, maybe consider seeing a psychiatrist (they are the specialists in brain chemistry). I'm on Azstarys and it has made a massive difference. Original post: This stuff works and it works really well. I’m in my late 50’s and when menopause hit, my memory just dissolved to nothing. I seriously thought I was in the first stage of Alzheimer’s. I was walking out of stores without paying for items (sometimes whole carts or house paint) and not even realizing it until the next day when I was looking for the receipt and realized I had never gone through the check out. Sometimes I would buy groceries, take them to the car then get in and drive off without unloading them. I would make a mental note to remember where I parked at the mall, but then forget and would be walking all over Timbuktu. Add to that lack of motivation, tiredness, a kind of depressed resignation, inability to focus and I was literally unable to work. I am a writer and I couldn’t remember the characters names or the plot. It was bad. Real bad. I radically changed my diet to paleo, started exercising, and gave up alcohol. I lost weight and felt less tired, but it really didn’t improve the brain function. Then I read about noortropics and decided to give this a try because of all the stars. I will say, I can feel a huge difference in my thinking clarity within a half hour of taking this stuff. I no longer feel like I’m losing my mind and I actually feel 25% more motivated. I also feel less hopeless and resigned. It’s not a miracle in a jar, it doesn’t give me my 25-year-old brain back but I would say it’s 50% better in overall functioning. Like before menopause. I’ve tried taking it with neuro peak (herbal supplement) and that seems to help even more, so it’s probably worth it to combine it with other brain enhancing herbs. I haven’t noticed any jitters at all. I will be taking this as a regular supplement for the rest of my life or until I find something better. If there is one negative I would say the taste, and that’s the reason for 4 stars: the stuff is nasty. Maybe if you dumped it into juice it wouldn’t be so bad. They have added some kind of sweetener other than sugar and it tastes really really sweet and chemically and when it hits my stomach I feel slightly queasy. That doesn’t last, but it sure is unpleasant. I let my housekeeper try it to see if it made a big difference on her (same age as me) and she was also grossed out by the taste. She said she couldn’t really tell a difference in how she felt, but she wasn’t having the cognitive difficulties I was so maybe that’s why. Bad taste is a small price to have to pay for something that works as well as this does but if the makers happen to be reading this, I suggest you offer it without added weird sweetener. Until then I’m just going to use gelatin capsules.

A New Level of Consciousness
My job is taxing. It is exhausting both mentally and emotionally. You see, I work at a non-profit. I write grants as part of a way too small 4-person team that is responsible for grants and development for a multi-state organization. We are over-worked and, frankly, are often forced to pick up the slack of others in order to ensure the project gets done. At this moment, I am working on ten different government grants. Tons of paperwork, questions to answer, requirements to meet. I love what I do, but during intense periods such as this, sometimes I run out of steam. Some days after an all-too-quick break for lunch, I feel as if I have nothing left. That is when Genius Consciousness comes in. I decided to hold off on writing a review until trying it out for a full work-week. Considering what is currently on my plate, now was as good a time as any to determine whether or not it could truly live up to being a "Brain Booster." On Monday, I took it just after lunch. I had started work at 7:30 in the morning that day. I don't know what came over me, but at 5 I headed straight for the park for what ended up being a 120- minute circuit training routine. Once I got home that night, I invited my Dad over and proceeded to help him through the usually cumbersome process of changing cellular plans to a new carrier. I went to sleep normally, but woke the following morning feeling unusually alert. The effect had essentially carried over into the next day. I got to work earlier that Tuesday and proceeded to have a two hour long conversation with my boss before bothering to get coffee. I usually need coffee to "function"... I didn't bother drinking it that day, despite having a long day ahead of me. I took it again around the same time that afternoon and proceeded to a community event that evening for work. I did not get back home until close to 7, after having spent the event in an in-depth discussion regarding the issues currently plaguing our community with a wide assortment of other individuals. Wednesday was very much a repeat of Monday. That evening, I proceeded to do a 35-minute arm training routine, ran 2 miles, and a 20-minute abs routine. This isn't a pre-workout supplement and I honestly never expected it to have this much of an influence on my work outs. Yesterday, was another long day with a conference going on until 7 PM, followed by me meeting up with my family for another meeting. Physically, I was beginning to feel exhaustion. I have not had a week like this in some time. Mentally however... Well, that was the opposite. Part of me did not want to sleep last night. I wanted to keep going, doing things, anything. Today, Friday, things are winding down with most of my organization pre-occuppied and me making preparations for a mini-vacation. I had planned on writing this review later this evening instead but... there is no point in waiting. I'm sold on Genius Consciousness. The effects have manifested themselves in a manner I still can't quite fathom. It isn't that I feel hyper, but more like a subtle driving force. This is mental acuity on par with having an excellent night's sleep, free from stress, despite whatever the reality may be. I won't lie. This won't win any awards for taste. I've had better because I have scoured far and wide for some sort of brain booster to help me get through our busy seasons. Frankly, I just prefer pills over having to drink something. So yes, other supplements have been more convenient too. But in terms of quality of ingredients and the positive effects I've experienced, there has been no equal. Genius has also proven themselves to be a company keen on remaining transparent and, working in the non-profit field that is something that I can definitely respect. It's certainly easier said than done. But everything is clearly labeled and documented. No "propriety" mystery blend nonsense. No artificial this or that. What's more, as a company they have been both responsive and eager to ensure that I have been completely satisfied. There isn't much more one could ask for from a supplement company.

Don't fall for the hype
Personally I am a big fan of nootropics, legal stimulants, anything that can be used to enhance my mind, memory, and clarity of thought. I saw this product highly rated and thought I'd give it a shot. Overall, it was OK but not worth the price. - PRICING: 2/5. My container cost $38 and provides 15 servings- that's about $2.5 per serving. Keep in mind each serving includes 100mg caffeine. If I want a caffeine dose comparable to a pretty standard energy drink (also ~$2.5), I would need 2-3 servings. That's up to $7.5 if I want 300mg caffeine. Is it fair for me to compare price based on caffeine alone, when this is not marketed as a caffeine supplement? No, but it's just a rough measure. If caffeine is used as a base for this stack, you would need a re-dose in 5-6 hours anyway, meaning you'll probably want at least 2 servings a day. So assuming you consume 2 servings a day, that's $5 a day, and the container would probably last a week. For a powder, I would hope that this would be cheaper than prepared coffees and energy drinks, but it is not. - EFFECT: 4/5. It's decent, this didn't blow me away, but I did find I was a bit more focused during work. I would take a lot of these other reviews with a grain of salt- this is not NZT. It's like a solid cup of coffee without jitteriness. - OTHER: 3/5. Flavor is decent but maybe a bit overpowering on the sweet side- I guess it's probably to mask any bitter flavors. The powder itself needs to be handled extremely gently, don't open the container quickly, and scoop slowly. Otherwise you will end up with extremely fine powder dust all over nearby surfaces, which will surely turn sticky when exposed to any moisture/humidity. Just scoop carefully. Overall I was not blown away by this product. It was effective but not on a very high level. My main complaint is the pricing. If it were half-priced, or twice as powerful, or had twice as many servings, I would see this as the sort of supplement I could use daily, but unfortunately it is none of those things and I don't have much use for supplements that I can't use daily.

Not impressed. I am a frequent nootropic user.
I have been taking one form or another of some type of nootropic/cognitive enhancer off and on for over 30 years. In the past several years, I have been taking them far more frequently. My favorites are phenylpiracetam, l-theanine, good organic coffee with a very limited amount of sugar and milk, Trader Joe's organic coconut oil (I just refrigerate it and eat little chunks of it throughout the day), NOW Mood Support, NOW True Focus, and about 1-2 grams of l-phenylalanine a day. Being physical active, even if it is brisk walking or rebounding on my ReboundAir is my usual form of exercise. I am in my 60s and feel much younger and I have no health issues. I really like Nootropics Depot products and I order them frequently from their website. I was REALLY looking forward to getting Genius Consciousness. After trying it three times, I felt nothing or close to nothing. NADA. I was a bit shocked. First, the price is RIDICULOUS. I think that there should be AT LEAST a 30 day full dose for no more than $30. This product is OVERPRICED but why? What is in it that is so pricey? When I take phenylpiracetam, l-theanine, caffeine (coffee), and a one gram of l-phenylalanine when I have had good sleep, and then I eat a high quality protein source (no animal meat), I usually feel awesome for several hours. I will stick to that because Genius Consciousness simply cannot compete whatsoever with my own concoction. I am returning the leftover product for a refund. No hard feelings to Nootropic Depot - I was very excited when it arrived, like a kid waiting for Santa. It would have been awesome if it lived up to my imagination, but it did not. And that's too bad for me -- but I am still Nootropics Depot customer. And I am thrilled for those whose brain chemistry works with this product. I am convinced that each of our brain chemistry is so very unique that there can be countless outcomes when using cognitive enhancers. L-theanine has a profoundly solid positive effect on me and I use it nearly daily. Phenylpiracetam is just about the holy grail for me in terms of my brain and focus being plugged in. However, there are times I can take my homemade cocktail and still sit on the sofa and fall asleep if I am a bit tired. There is a lot of various outcomes when taking these powders. Know your own body. Be educated. Do not abuse the dosages unless you know upfront what might happen. Regular exercise, good health, drinking enough water, having a positive outlook, and being a happy nice understanding unstressed person is probably the best cognitive enhancer out there.

This stuff is truly AMAZING.
I bought the Genius Consciousness watermelon powder when a doctor told me to try some Nootropics for my overall happiness/moods and energy level. Here was my experience with this product. I am currently a crazy busy, 36 year old mom of toddlers, I work a full time job from home and I am a full time nursing student. I need to be on point all of the time and I need it to be in a healthy and safe manner. Taste/Prep: I dissolved one full scoop in about 12 ounces of cold cold water and stirred it very well before drinking it and throughout drinking it to keep it from settling on the bottom of the glass. The taste was great, I expected something that was more comparable to like an airborne or something like that. This was closer to a yummy Crystal Lite drink. Super easy to make and drink down. Energy/Focus: This product did not lie about the "consume 15 minutes before...". Within 15 minutes I felt like I was ready to go. My other half even made fun of me a little bit cause I was so chatty and ready to plan the next 3 years. However, not in a crazy, disorganized, "speedy" manner. I was just very energized and focused and super motivated. I usually drink a big red bull, or a couple of coffee drinks etc. in order to get going in the morning. I can be very sensitive to caffeinated/vitamin things like this. I get jittery and anxious and it is super counterproductive. Also, I feel like when I overdo the energy products I am just kind of all over the place and never actually can focus or do what I needed to get done that day. The GC does not cause the jitters or any negative feelings of that sort at all. It was a very good, energized, motivated, focused feeling all morning and it lasted until at least late afternoon. The best part... NO CRASH. At all. The only thing I should note... My first experience I used 1 full scoop in the later afternoon... I didn't go to sleep until around midnight or later. So maybe I should have listened and only taken 1/2 a scoop until I knew how my body reacts. Hahaha. So from then on I take it first thing in the morning. Or if I need it later I only do half a scoop. The good news was... when I couldn't sleep and was awake all night, I was very productive. Haha. Mood: I feel like this definitely improves my over all mood and happiness. I don't know if it is because I am happy that everything is getting done and I'm not feeling so tired or crashing multiple times a day. But I am 100% feeling better and happier. I have not read that this product can be used to aide weight loss or that it is used help to improve a physically healthy lifestyle in general. However, I have lost over 10lbs in the last 4 weeks and am still losing and motivated to lose more. I am certain it is related to taking the GC. Maybe this has to do with just feeling well enough to take my walks every day and to keep moving and feeling well enough to meal prep or make healthy dinners. I'm not reallllly sure. But Hey, I'll take it. I 100% recommend this product to anyone looking for a healthy way to improve energy, focus, happiness and lets face it LIFE. This stuff is amazing. I have recommended this to anyone that has noticed how well I have been doing in the past month and asks how I'm doing it, anyone who complains about being tired or not having enough energy and most importantly banyone who needs to get school work, tests or anything that requires the perfect amount of focus and energy. This stuff is amazing. I am soooo incredibly happy to have found something so easy, safe, yummy and that WORKS. I am super looking forward to trying all of their products! I also want to mention, I am ONLY leaving this review because when I shop for things like this I REALLY count on reviews for as much information as I can get. So I wanted to help someone else looking for more info.
