SMIRLY Cutting Boards for Kitchen, 3 Piece Acacia Cutting Board with Stand

Got these to replace our plastic ones since they supposedly end up as micro plastics in you.These are very nice, very easy to clean, and don't chip. The little lip to catch liquids is amazing and the holder makes them look beautiful on display.I like the 3 sizes and I don't notice any warping of the wood. One did get stained from berries but I don't mind. I wash with soap and water.Totally worth the cost.

These cutting boards are absolutely gorgeous. Once of them started warping after a couple of months and I reached out to the seller and they sent a replacement with zero issues. I'm so incredibly impressed with this level of customer service and I'm recommending the cutting boards to everyone I know!

The moment I opened the package for this I noticed the quality was going to be a problem. The surface was rough and coarse and didn't feel like a quality wood product. As soon as I started using them, heavy cut marks appeared on the boards. I am not talking about normal scuffs from cutting, but the grooves left behind were deep and you could feel the wood lifting where they were. It was a splinter hazard from the get go.I rarely bought something in Amazon of such terrible quality. Avoid at all costs.

UPDATE (10 May 2025): I was contacted by Smirly after posting my original review and offered a full refund or a replacement. Since I very much like the cutting boards and wanted to give them another shot, I opted for the replacement. I have since received the replacement boards and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. They are flat! And they look, as with the originals, to be really well made, high quality, solid wood. I will update my review further in a couple of weeks, as necessary. I have to say, I am thoroughly IMPRESSED with Smirly’s customer service and willingness to correct my issue. Not because the wood is poor or they’re coming apart/delaminating, but because they WARPED! All three boards warped over the course of a week just sitting in the stand. They arrived flat, but within a week after arrival (HAVING NOT BEEN USED AT ALL!) all three cutting boards are now warped and do not sit flat on the counter. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I am so disappointed.On the positive side, the design of the tray is really nice and super functional. The thickness of the wood is substantial and feels really sturdy. The sizes of the cutting boards are also very nice, providing options for all sorts of food prep.I just wish that they had stayed flat!

Okay, unfortunately I received a defective cutting board. The defect was on some of the edge and a corner on the medium sized board. The most important thing here though was the incredible customer service! When I first contacted them, they were very apologetic and immediately sent me an email on how to proceed for a refund or replacement. On providing them with the information they requested, they immediately replied (on a Sunday night!) and said I could have either a refund or replacement. Even though I likely would have ordered the same thing, I decided to ask for a refund just to check out other options first. After another immediately reply they said that I would receive my refund in 3 to 5 days. Then, they added I could keep the cutting boards for my trouble! Then they exceeded my expectations again when I received my refund in less than a day! It was so refreshing to get this kind of customer service. They were apologetic, very quick and exceeded my expectations in every way. Kudos to Smirly!

The boards are beautiful and I love the various sizes, but they have warped within two months of using… they are only hand washed and dried right away before setting them in a rack where they sit up as opposed to laying flat. Super bummed it warped and it’s annoying that the board spins now when I use it. It’s past my return date so I suppose I will just deal with it.

I’ve been using these for a few months now they are a great addition to the kitchen Long lasting definitely good value for the money good quality. I treat it once a month with biodegradable food oil. I love the three different sizes. It definitely is not dishwasher safe do not do that.

A solid set of chopping boards - I’m happy with my purchase.
