A truly powerful book for those determined for a positive change
I was recommended this book by my friend and gave it a read as it was free. I have read many self help books which I have paid for and haven't found a lot of benefit. I am most impressed with this book because of the managable chunks of information that doesnt overload you. I have been making notes of the exercises and would particularly recommend the creative writing one. I have recommended the book to my partner who doesn't have social anxiety but explains the concepts well to interested parties. I feel I could relate to the author and have been trapped in some of the pitfalls described. The explanations normalised your feelings of anxiety making you feel less unicorn. This is beneficial for those who have gone through the wave of being different and now just want to feel ordinary. When I was younger I liked being different and moody but now anxiety makes me feels odd and I want to be able to have a conversation that isn't half in my head. This book wont be relatable to everyone but the tips on writing positive affirmations with emotion can certainly be beneficial for all. There is also an audio relaxation mp3 added for free but I haven't yet listened to it.

78 pages with huge font.....
It's barely a book. Rather a leaflet. Content is OK but as mentioned not really a book with only 78 pages and huge font, printed on cheap paper. Barely a chapter in other books, but being passed as a book here. I wouldn't recommend.

Very Uplifting.
A short read but very informative. A sensible and practical guide to self helping. I will definitely be using the 5 practical steps outlined for releasing negative energies, as they are simple and can be included in general daily living, which is great for busy people.

A Helpful Guide for Shyness and Social Anxiety
This is a fresh look and approach to the issue of social anxiety. As someone who is on the shy side, I was looking forward to what the author would offer as solutions. I was not disappointed. While he provides the "proven techniques" for reprogramming the mind, he does something most mind technicians fail to do--the integration of the mind and body. He talks about the importance of releasing trapped energy in the body and suggests ways to do it. I also found the visualization exercise extremely helpful, as well as the explanation as to why visualization works. He wraps up the book with pitfalls to avoid. I wish more authors would talk about pitfalls when it comes to personal development. That just makes so much sense. Overall, this book is well written with helpful solutions to social anxiety. I recommend it to anyone dealing with social anxiety.

Alternative, powerful ways to overome social anxiety
Believe me, I've had my fair share of struggles with social anxiety, shyness and fear of speaking in public. But at the same time I can tell you that all of these things are 100% possible to overcome. I did it and anyone else can also. I am very into the subject thanks to my previous experience, and I love reading through these book in order to find new ways of handling the issues.Beau Norton really makes a great effort to find alternative methods compared to those commonly advertised to overcome social anxiety. I find the methods listed by him to be more powerful and efficient in the long run and thanks to that I will also be advising those whoI help overcome these issues to use going forward.

Change your mind, change your experience
You will not be disappointed with another great read from Beau Norton. I have read several of his works and I would say that he is definitely keen on how the psyche works and how to improve your life through basic techniques. In this book Norton first delves in to his personal experience with social anxiety before giving readers some great ways to improve their own experiences in social situations. Like anything, much of an experience is based on the attitude and perception of the person experiencing it. Norton teaches readers how to modify their viewpoints to have better outcomes through various ways to create positivity, visualization, bioenergetics, and setting up a healthful environment.

A Journey
Some decent nuggets in this quick read on overcoming anxiety, shyness and other social challenges. A good, quick read that will give you some basics. It doesn’t replace counseling, but does supplement it.

Powerful Book.
I bought this book to learn more about social anxiety and how to understand the effects it has on a person. The writer tells about his experience with social anxiety, self awareness, solution-oriented thinking. He gives four strategies on how to create a positive mental attitude. He tells you how to use written thought restructuring, autosuggestion, visualization techniques and more.

Thank You Beau Norton
When I first got this book (free I might add) I wasn't sure I would even read it. I suffer from a whole slew of disabilities, the least of which is anxiety and depression. But I thought "what the heck?" Most of what he wrote is stuff I already knew, but there are things I wasn't aware of like, writing down my life as I want it to be, being detailed and reading it twice a day? I never even thought of that, but can see how it can work. Also, there are several ways to release unexpressed emotion, which I have it of due to my past. I also like that he says the tiny steps we take do matter bc I'm the type of person that I want to be able to "go big or go home" but my physical disabilities don't allow for that. Thank you Beau, for a great read and for writing step by step what we can do! For anyone who wants to change how they think or feel, this would be a great read! So much so that I asked my husband to read bc he doesn't have much self confidence.

Good information
The author can say first hand how these techniques have helped him. They are easily applied and don't take a lot of effort. Just common sense.

I’m a very shy person and I’ve read quite a few books looking for a solution to my problem. This book introduces a bit different approach to social anxiety and contains proven techniques for reprogramming your mind. I really like the visualization exercise as I think it helped me the most. I also like the fact that the author shares his experience with this problem which really motivates me. If he could do it, I can do it. I would recommend this book.
