This device is very helpful because it allow the reader to scroll at their own pace. In other words, it allows the reader to scroll normally, or by paragraph, by paragraph. Software is ok, you'll have to have a word processor such as MS-Word to import your text, you cannot type straight to the prompter software.

I recommend using this remote control unit with the Elegant Teleprompter Pro app. Works great on my Android Samsung Galaxy Tab A. The only negative is that the written instructions that came in the box give incorrect instructions on how to pair the bluetooth remote unit to another device. I had to watch the manufacturer's video to learn how easy it is to pair this remote control to my tablet. Also, be aware that the device automatically shuts off after about 12 minutes of non-use to save battery power. I think a work-around is to periodically tap the "speed up" and "slow down" keys to defeat the auto shut-off feature. This unit also cost much less than another brand I had purchased but did not like due to poor performance. Overall, this teleprompter remote control is a great value. I am pleased, and have already recommended this unit to friends. Buy it. I think you will like it.

The physical remote is cheap janky plastic, but the App is the real problem: the app doesn’t work as described in its own help pages. The whole idea of ### markers is great, but when you click the corresponding buttons on the remote (you’re suppose to press and hold Y and A ) it’s suppose to jump between markers, however it only does this correctly maybe 10% of the time. The next and previous marker buttons within the app function as intended, but the remote does not. Also, the remote is strangely designed around the idea of editing text (see image), which is so strange: no one buys a teleprompter remote to edit text, they do that on the device and or with a keyboard. Obviously the remote is for interacting with the finished teleprompter script, but somehow the people designing this thought we wanted a remote to edit the text of the script. Hence there are way more buttons than necessary, and the app and remote don’t work well together. The whole system is garbage and I’m just writing this review to hopefully save you from wasting your time and money. 0 stars, waste of life, absolute failure. Now go find some better alternative and have a great day. Cheers

I just got the remote and tested it on my Samsung tablet, but the app does not support the current version of Android; I use the web version from the tablet and it works. Also, the app and remote work on Windows 11 and the current version of IOS

Easy to use remote for an android tablet or Ipad. Getting use to all of the button functions can take a few minutes, but overall, it is well worth the money. The free software does the trick for any user and has all the functionalities the user would need when using a teleprompter or reading directly from the tablet. Great product!
