As a non professional who has bleached and dyed my own hair many many times, I always used to use bleaching kits. When looking for a new one to try i saw this, which had me curious. I already have a bottle of developer at home, so I decided to take a chance on this. I'm so happy I did!If you've ever used a bleaching kit, you can easily use this. It's essentially the same thing, only you have measure out the powder and developer yourself which isn't hard at all. In exchange for that, you get a LARGE quantity, enough for many bleachings of long hair, or a ton for shorter hair.You'd think because you get so much it would be of lesser quality...and you'd be wrong. This worked far better than any bleach kit I've used, and while my hair is strong so I never damaged it even with very powerful kits, this one left my hair feeling nice and soft. If it wasn't for the results I'd have assumed it didn't work. Went from dark brown to almost platinum blonde in 2 uses.Comes in a tub with a screw top lid, with a measuring spoon. Powder itself is in a strong bag with a gold tie.Conclusion? If you bleach your hair, get a bottle of developer (info can be easily found to help you choose a strength between 10/20/30 volume, don't use 40 volume) and get this tub of bleach powder, together it will cost about 3 to 4 bleach kits, but be more effective and you can do easily 5 to 10 times that amount of bleaching. The better choice for sure

This product singed my hair making it fall out, and still it did not lift as it should or tone down brass as a product like this should. I used all the correct amounts of powder vs developer.

Saw a lot less brassy tones with this bleach. I typically use stuff from the professional lines, however, have been resorting to my local Sally’s selection lately because I didn’t see a huge difference after using this product to touch up my daughters hair I noticed her hair is a lot less brassy. I would say the same amount of damage to hair while using 20 or 30 volume wasn’t a significant difference there overall a great affordable product.

If you are looking to bleach your hair without so much damage, this powder is the right one, it bleaches you quickly and does not mistreat your hair

This is very gentle on my hair and dosent cause as much breakage compared to other brands ive tried. However, it dosent provide 9 levels of lift to my hair.I used this with 30 volume developer on my level 2 hair, and it only lifted to a maximum of a level 7. A bit disappointing, but my hair feels soft after every use.
