Lovely bearing set. Unfortunately my drum cant be split so let this be a lesson DONT BUY HOTPOINT AQURIUS THEY ARE BUILT TO BE THROWN AWAY

Parts are great. Job is difficult.
Replacing these is a non-trivial job: it's a complete machine strip-down helped enormously by various YouTube videos. However, it allowed me to clean out the machine (Hotpoint Aquarius WDL760 washer/dryer) in the process. I measured 93dB at full spin from the old bearings, and 78dB with the new (same measurement location, roughly the same load, same spin speed): so that's a 15dB improvement which is HUGE.Update from 5* to 3*: I've just re-ordered as the first replacement set are making rough grinding noises after just three years; the original set lasted more like seven. Not looking forward to doing the replacement again.

Unfortunately the bearings only lasted 20 months and for a Washing Machine that's used probably once every week or two and the original bearing lasted for over 14 years i would have expected it to last longer.

Definitely not original quality
Fitted this new bearing to my washing machine in summer 2015 - it's now June 2016 and the bearing has collapsed - didn't even last 12 months!
