Super easy set up! Works like a dream. No leaks. No whistles. Caught everything! After an hour and a half of CnC run time, there was nothing in my craftsman shop vac at all! Save your money and get this instead of those BS catchers that make your shop more “official” than necessary! Need more storage for less frequent dumps? Get a bigger bucket lol.

Works great. Had to do a lot of sanding and I got tired of cleaning my shop vac filter every 30 mins. With this attached I didn't have to clean it once! The most it gets is a light coating of dust. Feels durable and I like how it's short vs all the other ones I saw online. I usually don't leave reviews but this was worth it.

I use a $6 thicker bucket with a more comfortable handle from Lowe's. It works great! I use pelleted litter that crumbles into saw dust when wet, for both my dogs (in a large kennel tray covered with plastic half inch by half inch hardware cloth) and my cats (normal litter boxes!). Instead of having to dump them into bags or carry them outside to the trash, I just vacuum it all up! It works on cat poop as well, not getting stuck, though I only use it on the saw dust where my dogs pee. Saves me money on pee pads for the dogs to use the pellets! I use three buckets: litter boxes in one, and one bucket for each kennel tray. Super simple to clean up after everyone, and cheaper than regular kitty litter or pads. So worth it to get this dust separator and be able to easily empty the mess, without worrying about the vacuum filter or yuckies inside my vacuum. I even tested it and sucked up way more than I should have (both kennel trays of saw dust) and the bucket was very full but with very little saw dust going into the actual vacuum! When the bucket was less full, like maybe three quarters, there was not a speck in the vacuum at all

Works great, but they should have three latches to attach to the bucket instead of two would be an improvement

Got this delivered today and put it right to work! It was professionally packaged with clear instructions on setup. Works great and has a snug fit with my 5 gallon bucket! I got the Dustopper Pro to avoid any sizing issues with the inlet and outlet pvc connections. The included connection hose was a bonus, to attach with my shop vac and letting me use my current vacuum hose for my tools. Would buy again and looking forward to what other convenient woodworking tools this company has to offer in the future.

This dude is bad ass, using it to remove dirt from under my house so it can be repaired. Snaps work well on it and the seal under the lid seals well to a five gallon bucket. Simple to set up and use. So far it’s held up well considering if it gets sucked up the end of the hose into the bucket it goes

Very handy when cutting on the table saw or just vacuuming the garage. Separates all the big debris from dust basically. The hepa filter on my large shop vac had nothing in the folds after 8 months of use. I just keep emptying the bucket. The only drawback to this is it’s constant tipping over if not strapped down to something. It will tip. I’ve even tried a 10lb weight inside but any attempt to pull the hose connected to the intake makes it top heavy. I don’t care though I’ve adapted. It’s too much of a game changer considering the competition and price comparisons.

This is a well-designed upgrade to shop dust collection. I have mine paired with a 6hp shop vac and it is amazing. There are virtually NO chips going into the shop vac. I have tested enough to fill half of a 5 gallon bucket and the results are great. I use a 2.5” hose size (od) and the fit is perfect. I highly recommend this upgrade. It’s a small amount of money to spend while getting a huge return.

I purchased the Duststopper PRO after my large 2hp dust collector motor decided to die on me. I figured I could get away with using a larger shop vacuum for a while so long as I could keep the filter from getting clogged. I have tried some other separator filters before and they were just OK, but the Dustopper is on a completely different level. I gave my vacuum a thorough cleaning to make sure the filters were spotless before connecting this to it. I can say that after a month of woodworking vacuuming all sorts of fine and coarse dust from cutting and sanding I have barely a trace of anything on the filters in my vacuum... everything went into the 5 gallon pail. As a result I am able to maintain excellent suction and only need to dump the pail. This is a huge bonus as I always found that I would loose suction quickly when sanding. I now plan to put this on a small rolling stand with my vacuum and attach it to a larger bucket. One thing. that I appreciate with this unit VS something like a dust deputy is that it is much lower profile, and there fore much less prone to tip over. I am thrilled with the way this thing works!

For many years I have been a regular reader of the American magazine Fine Woodworking, I particularly enjoy their annual Tools & Shops issue. In this year’s issue I saw an article on the Dustopper Pro and wanted to buy one. I was very pleased to find that I could purchase a Dustopper Pro from the USA via Amazon Prime without having to pay delivery charges. It arrived quickly and in very sturdy packaging. It is very well made and the instructions for using it were very clear and easy to understand. My only problem was finding a 5 US gallon bucket in the UK! Many 5 gallon buckets on sale here 25 litre buckets and the Dustopper Pro does not fit them. Then I discovered that Screwfix sell a Marshalltown 5 gallon bucket, made in the USA, which is a perfect fit for the Dustopper Pro. I am very happy with my purchase as emptying the bucket is so much easier than emptying either of my two workshop vacuum cleaners.
