I was worried about using this after reading some of the reviews. However I gave it a shot anyway. Yes, it does dip quite a bit when cooling, BUT its a much softer wax so a little dip it fine. It cools quicker then the previous wax I was using. I used this in small silicone molds & it slipped out a lot easier then the wax I had been using, (if your making larhe candles this may not be the wax for you), it holds color well & I think id use it again. 3 stars because of the price, didn't get enough out of it to warrant the high price.

I make 6oz candles. This 3lb container gets me 9 candles. Love how easy it is to melt compared to the other wax I’ve tried. It doesn’t have a long cooling period

This wax melts and flows like normal paraffin, but I was not able to get smooth pillar candles with this product. I tried pouring the wax at different temperatures and eventually using different additives. Voids and bubbles were common. I was not able to make an acceptable pillar candle with this product despite several weeks of experimentation. I switched to paraffin blocks from a different manufacturer and using the same recipes and got a good results for pillar candles. One good thing about this product is it is easy to weigh out since it is granular. Finally, the container is really hard to open. It is frustrating trying to open it.

I made a big batch of pine cone fire starters with this by simply dipping the dry cones in melted wax and let them dry on parchment paper. Very easy to use and non-toxic. Could use it for hand treatments too. Very fine powder, no lumps, melts quickly. Also ike the bucket for storing it, no mess. Excellent fire starter!

I've been using this to wax paracord whips and it seems to be working well! I'm melting the wax in a large electric turkey roaster and used about 2 1/2 tubs of wax to begin. The heel knot did not fully submerge but I used an old wooded spoon to put the wax on the heel knot. 3 full tubs might have been enough. Will buy again when I need to add some more. Tips for others who want to do the same: 1) it takes about an hour or more to melt the wax in the roaster 2) heat the wax between 180 and 200 degrees, hotter and it doesn't work as well 3) use a thermometer to find out how hot the wax is, don't depend on the dial on the roaster (I used a candy thermometer).

I though it was bigger but for the rest I can’t complain... it was my fault i guess. Easy to use but not mess free (small beans) and it’s made in Canada!

The small wax granules help for quicker melting. It also makes it easier to measure and figure out how much wax to melt.

Nice product. Very fine grain, so it's melting fast. Works great for candle fabrication.
