I ordered this on 12/17/2024 for my fiancé birthday. Expected delivery date 12/30/24. Which was ok because that was my fiance's birthday. However, we didn't receive it until 1/7/25. That was a different issue. I should have taken that as a sign to cancel the order. He love chess so much is the only reason I didnt. He enjoyed the game when it came. He played it every weekend since it came. Now he says the computer is not moving and it makes a loud annoying noise. He reached out to customer service via email about the issue. They respond quick, asking for a video. They didn't provide a solution yet. It appears the humming, vibrating, and malfunction is a common issue with this board. The company need to improve their product. I see why this product is unavailable on Amazon and don't know when it will be available again. This is unacceptable, we will be sending back. This chess board cost too much money for it to not work the way it should.

I love being able to see how games are played live remotely.

Works great well made the board is large but the men are rather small it’s Ben fun to play the digester sucks it took me for ever to get it to work and still have not been able to get one on one human play to work or voice commands

This product never worked. This beating noise is supposed to be a common problem, and there is a video solution for it on its website. However, the fix doesn't work. All you get is a loud chess board that vibrates the pieces all over the place.And their customer service is beyond frustrating. They have a Miko Chat Bot, who just puts you in a loop. There is no phone number, nothing else other than a horrible automated chat bot. I spent 2/3 of a day trying to get this thing to work, and trying every which way to contact them. Their customer service is beyond horrible, its flat out non-existent. There is no customer service.All I can say is do not buy this junk product. It is horrible, and even if yours does work when it comes in unlike mine, good luck ever getting support from them. You can enjoy their loop in the miko chat with their bot where he puts you in a loop requesting your name and contact information endless times.

We bought this board during the Thanksgiving sale. Our first impressions are impressive. We wanted a chess set that could connect seamlessly with Lichess and Chess.com. This also helped my son play regular chess, reducing screen time while enjoying a physical board. I am satisfied with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to all chess enthusiasts looking to improve their game.

I am enjoying playing chess against the computer using this automated chessboard immensely. I love watching the individual pieces move when the computer moves, and when my opponent takes one of my pieces.I would’ve given it five stars if it wasn’t as big and heavy as it is and if the gameplay logic was actually built into the chessboard, and not needing me to use my phone as the computer that drives the board.A couple of observations that really didn’t drive my ratin, one way or the other are that the computer sometimes gets confused about where the pieces are after playing a lot of games in a row, and the noise made by the mechanism in the board that moves the pieces sounds a little clunky and makes me wonder if it’s going to break or jam at some point in the future. None of those things have affected my gameplay so I’m not dinging this product.

What started out as a dream come true, didn't go as expected. Right out of the box, the board looked beautiful. Cherry colored, solid and strong. 13 moves in, I heard a dreadful grinding noise. Seems the one I received was defective. I contacted customer service, I got a feeling it was going to take longer to resolve this issue. So I returned for a refund.

The Miko Chessboard is nice , impressive and hightech electronic Chessboard and is helping improve my child's chess abilities. Here self moving pieces and magical resetting option are amazing. My son loves to play with Miko board. Till now I haven't got any problem ...so far

It's been in the market for a while now and yet it feels like a beta test to be frank. The reset function doesn't work half of the time, moving pieces to the wrong locations. The pressure pads on the squares are a bit finicky at times, taking you out of the experience. Having to connect the phone to the board all the time to have any sort of usability on such a huge device that's expensive is a bit silly to be frank. Would've loved to just quick start a game with just the board AI.

But i don't know how to move the pieces after my first move..kindly help how to play it perfectly
