Least expensive option with spot lock
After a week I love this trolling motor. It is a small effort to lower and raise compared to my only riptide that is more like the Terrova, but it is better then spending another grand. Super quiet and spot lock much better than my old Minn Kota.

Great setup. Spot lock is King.
Salt water using in the ICW on the east coast. love the spot lock in the currents. Have just begun to explore this and my Humming bird working together but so far everything is awesome if you realize that it is mostly you that will be making mistakes.

The most important part is made from plastic
The release handles are trash the plastic is not strong enough for shipping conditions I doubt there strong enough for the sun and salt

Must for fishing...or loitering.
I bought this motor for my Yamaha 190FSH and it makes fishing and loitering so much better. I used the Yamaha trolling motor mounting plate but still required light modifications. I'm using 100 amp 24V Life battery but that was an overkill, the motor should be fine with 50 amp battery.

Great!
This is a great trolling motor! I put it on my 20ft bay boat and it pulls it around with plenty of power. Instalation was quick and easy. The remote control is straight forward and easy to learn.

Works as intended
Very pleased with this purchase so far. Deploying and retracting is a bit of a pain but worth it.

Lasted 6 months.
It was great while it worked. I installed is 6.5 months ago and used it abiut 15 times. It was a dream. Then yesterday I got out on the water and the motor is not receiving power. Hopefully the company will fix it.
