These pole tips are a game changer for thru hikers. I wore out my trekking pole tips about every 500 miles. These tips allowed me a quick, reliable cheap replacement. I was able to tap them on and not once did they accidentally come off. I was very surprised at how well These worked. To remove the original tip, I needed tools, but no tools were required to install These tips. I highly recommend these to long distance hikers, or anyone who has worn out their tips.

Just as good as the original, much cheaper than other replacements. Just shave off the old tip with a knife and slide the other one on. It will eventually just pound its Way into place even if not an exact fit. Would purchase again.

I got these to repair a tips on ski poles. I epoxied the tips on the ski pole thinking this would be a permanent repair. First day out after the repair, the tip broke off while I was tapping the snow off my boots to step into my bindings. I didn't even get one run out of them. It was fairly cold that day, not sure if the temperature had anything to do with it, but they are worthless (at least in my experience) for a ski pole repair.
