As good as the premium brands, at a lower price
I've used Norelco shavers for years, and in the last few years, Chinese versions like this YIRISO. This one is a smooth-shaving triple-rotary-blade electric like the original Norelcos, with the same kinds of features - pop-up trimmer, waterproof, LCD battery level readout, etc. The shaver is quick to recharge, and holds its charge for a long time. It's ergonomically shaped, so it feels good in the hand, and the shaving heads are at the right angle for the face. Cleaning is a breeze - hold it under running water. The bottom line is that it works, and it does it at a price far below what the premium brands cost. Can't beat that!

Not disappointed
I love this razor. Only needs to be charged once a week when using everyday. The sideburn trimmer is a great additional benefit. Easy to handle, easy to clean with brush or water. When washing with water it is best to use it after it dries as the clippings tend to stick to the blades and prevents being brushed away. Had always used a blade before this but I love this razor

After 6 months of use - Nice wet/dry shave for a great price, 24 shaves per charge
Purchased 04/2025 Reviewed 10/2025 Review updated 11/2025 This is just a great little electric shaver with outstanding customer service for $25. I haven’t tried the $300 models, but this gets the job done. It cleans easily under water faucet, charges fast, has a travel lock, travel case, and shave timer (What's is a timer for?) No skin irritation at all when using shaving cream. Barely any irritation when shaving dry. I would probably want to change the round electric blades minimum of yearly. I haven't noticed any blade issues though after 7 months. 1. Shaves best wet with my favorite "Aveeno" shaving cream while in the shower. 2. Shaves 2nd best with shaving cream (and a little water) in front of mirror. 3. Shaves 3rd best putting on only pre-electric shave lotion before shaving 4. Shaves 4th best completely dry. I miss the ultra-close shave of my 5-blade safety razor, but no electric will ever be as close as a blade directly on skin. This shaver gives a darn-good smooth shave without any blood spillage that happens now and again with a blade when you’re in a hurry. *(FYI, If you use a blade, stop any bleeding with a "Styptic pencil." And with a blade, shaving while showering and at the end of your shower makes a big difference!) It takes about the same time to shave with this electric as it does with a blade - but the electric is a lot less messy in the car than shaving cream and a blade :-) That said, it takes about 3.5 minutes to shave with this electric shaver. It shaves fine, just don't move it around too fast. (3.5 min x 24 shaves = 84 min, so their claim of 90 minutes per charge appears to be fairly accurate👍) I counted the number of shaves (with rinses/cleanings) that I got with one full charge (24 shaves) starting at 99% (full charge) and recorded the charge at the END of each shave (average 4% per shave). Note that shaves range from 1 to 3 day stubble, a medium stubble beard, and a mix of lubricants... dry, pre-shave lotion, and shaving cream. >> Shave number & ending charge in percent << #1 98% (10-16-25) #2 95% (10-17-25) #3 93% (10-18-25) #4 90% (10-21-25) #5 87% (10-23-25) #6 84% (10-25-25) #7 81% (10-26-25) #8 77% (10-27-25) #9 72% (10-29-25) #10 66% (10-30-25) #11 62% (10-31-25) #12 56% (11-1-25) #13 47% (11-3-25) #14 43% (11-5-25) #15 41% (11-6-25) #16 38% (11-7-25) #17 34% (11-8-25) #18 30% (11-10-25) #19 26% (11-13-25) #20 20% (11-14-25) #21 12% (11-16-25 #22 5% (11-17-25) #23 2% (11-18-25) #24 0% (11-19-25) Impressive customer service: The blade head is detachable and I take it off once in a while or it pops off. I went to pop it back in and this time probably pressed too hard in wrong place in the dark, and I broke the plastic that holds the metal hinge in place. I emailed the seller and even after 7 months they offered to send me a new one! (Ended up with a refund due to my location... 6 months after the return window closed!) I’m very impressed. Cons: 4 of 5 stars due to... 1) Chrome-like paint coming off after 4 months (see pics, looks older than it should) 2) Plastic protective cover that snaps over foil/blades when not in use always pops off (not the best fit). Try to keep that plastic cap on or keep in the travel case so as not to dent in the blade foils) 3) Advertised in pictures as 9,000 rpm, but text specs say it's 7,500 rpm, so this is as flaky as the chrome paint. RPMs will affect the shave time, quality, and irritation. I wish I had a laser rpm meter to check the RPMs myself.

Great shaver for the price
My husband absolutely loves this electric razor. He loves the attachments. The power stays charged for long periods of time without having to keep recharging it. It’s very durable and easy to use and it’s comfortable against his skin.

Great shave, great value.
My old electric razor literally fell apart so I started looking for a new one. I wear a beard and only need to shave my neck every other day so my demand’s aren’t great. Over the years I have owned Norelco, Braun, Remington and maybe a couple of others. I never have been totally satisfied with any shave I got from an electric razor and have even used the old standby safety razor. Safety razors give a good shave but that whole process gets old so a go back to electric. When my last one broke I was not sure what I wanted. The foil ones didn’t give a very good shave and the rotary bladed ones were expensive and gave me a better shave for an electric razor but not great. In all honesty I decided to go with a rotary type because they gave an ok shave but I wasn’t going to spend a lot of money. I selected this brand because it was rotary, cheap and water proof. I wasn’t expecting much but was very surprised with the results. Don’t know what’s different from my past experience with this type razor but my shave was as good as a blade. I use a pre shave cream which stands the whiskers up but I always have with an electric. Also because all electric razors tend to be hard on my neck. I like the water clean up and the blade sharpness but can’t speak to the durability yet. I know for value it’s a good buy. It cost less than the others I have owned. Also comes with a carrying case.

Rechargable rotary shaver
Great quality, and it works just as well as my older ones, which were much more expensive. There are customer comments about the cutter cover falling off. I put a tiny dab of glue inside the tip of each (3) cover and let it set overnight. Works great. My only other comment is the housing is very smooth and subject to slipping out of your hand. I'd suggest they add some rubberized material to the outer part of the housing to prevent dropping it. Otherwise, I think this shaver is a real buy.

A Good Razor At A Great Price
I needed a razor that I could use for touch ups while I'm out of town. This one provides a shave that is as good as my Norelco rotary that I use at home.

Good to have
First of all, it has a LED display, not a LCD. As a regular user of Philips shavers for the past 20 years, I find the display features on this one to be great. It gives the same quality shave as a Philips, though it is a bit rough on the skin during a dry shave (and I always dry shave). My previous Philips shaver lasted for 7 years and is still working; I hope this one lasts just as long!

A good deal.
I needed urgently to replace my old shaver/trimmer in time for Christmas, but with most of my budget spent. I was worried that, for the price, it might not be very good, but I went ahead and ordered it anyway, as I couldn't afford anything more expensive. It arrived on time, and came boxed, with a neat travel case, small brush, USB charging cable, and instructions. Where my old shaver had started to 'pluck' my hair, this is smooth. The rotary blades take almost no time to do their job, and the motor is much quieter. The trimmer is great, even for styling my beard, although you need to be careful lining it up at first, as the main head can obscure its exact position. I love the big figures which appear through the silver casing to show how much time it has left with charge, and how long you've taken. All in all, a good deal for the price.

Works well. Good value.
Early days, so this review is based on first impressions. The shaver works really well and is a big improvement on the travel shaver I was using before. That is hardly surprising, since the Yiriso is larger and has three heads rather than two, but it's so good that it has surpassed my expectations. It gives a close shave; it's remarkably light; it's comfortable to use and it comes with a decent zipped case. I can't yet verify the claimed 90 minutes' use on a single charge. One minor drawback: the protective cap for the shaving heads doesn't clip on securely enough and could easily come off by accident (though this probably won't happen when the shaver is in its case, as the latter is contoured closely to fit the shaver. All in all, I'm so far very happy with the Yiriso. The travel shaver will now be relegated to leisure travel use only, for which compactness is more important than performance. You can get away with stubble on holiday; at least you can in the sort of company I keep.
