Useless. Im a GP. Thought this was a serious pices of kit. Its only a toy. Don't waste your money.

I work as a family doctor and this dermatoscope is helpful for quick "lighted" magnification of skin lesions. The magnification is not "3D" like the Dermlite, which I also have. So I use one or both. It is solid built but it requires that the glass be put on or within 1-2 mm of the surface which gives concerns for contamination of the glass. I will clean as needed. There is a "cleanable" glass cover that is on the market and which, as a suggestion, could be offered with this model.
