No real maple flavor
This maple syrup has absolutely no real maple flavor. It tastes more like sweetened water. I expected a rich, authentic flavor from such an expensive bottle and from this company, but there was none at all. It honestly reminds me of the cheapest pancake syrup—just sweet water with no depth or character.

Not sealed
The bottle is not sealed. Shipper wrapped it in bubble wrap and put it in a box. When I received it there was syrup all over the inside of the bubble wrap, made a mess when I unwrapped it. There was a tamper seal on the cap, but apparently the cap isn't sealed well so it leaked through the tamper seal. The syrup tastes very good, but I probably won't order more after this. It would get 5 stars, but 2 stars off for failing to use a proper cap.

Syrup arrived in a broken bottle with product leaking all over. There is a no return/no replacement policy. I am out $22.
