Muy silencioso y de fábrica viene en caja
Compré el de 14 teras. Es agradable saber que de fábrica viene dentro de una caja y con protección interna, contrario a los Seagates, que vienen sueltos. Como era de esperarse, de los 14t solo hay disponible arriba de 12t. Es el primero que compro de esta marca, casi todos mis DD son Seagates, que me han salido muy bien, hay uno que ya lleva más de 15 años y cero problemas.

I have always found Toshiba to be exceptional. They are durable, quiet, and a good value. This drive has performed well, without incident. I highly recommend Toshiba drives. I have always been happy with them and their quality. I have had a couple of drives from other companies fail, but Toshiba keeps on going. I needed an enterprise drive at one point that I could hear the drive sometimes, but that was an enterprise drive, so I expected that. The desktop drives are quiet.

A bit slow to load, but reliable.
So far, so good. I formatted it ext4 and moved Linux Mint's "Home" to it. Things load slower than if Home was on an SSD same as everything else, but good luck finding one that will store this much data. This replaced a refurbished WD HDD that, when it started failing, caused headaches. I back up, but restoring all those files after having to re-do the OS (because Home was corrupted) was too time consuming. I have other Toshiba drives that have lasted a good, long while. That's the last time I gamble on a refurbished HDD.
