I've tried a similar product made of plastic bit this ceramic one is a thousand times better. Easier to clean and looks great.It did make a rattling sound while it was coming but it was just steam escaping because there's no gaps with the lid on.Also this will be very hot coming out. Obviously the dish will be hot after coming something but it's like grabbing the pot on the bottom after talking it off the stove hot, not slightly unplanned to hold warm. Use a oven mitt or bowl cozy. It does also leak a little bit of you fill it much more past half fill with water so adjust accordingly.
