This Hangsun dehumidifier has massively improved the air quality in our home. It pulls a surprising amount of water out of the air each day, even in our damp old cottage. The digital humidity display is accurate and easy to read, and the 24-hour timer is really handy for overnight drying or leaving it on while we’re out. It runs quietly enough to have on in the background without being distracting, and the continuous drainage option is a big plus if you don’t want to keep emptying the tank. Ideal for laundry days, basements, or anywhere with condensation issues. Absolutely worth the money – exceeded expectations.

There are a lot of these dehumidifiers out there, I spent a couple of weeks seeing which was best for our needs for a price of £150 ish, you always take a bit of a gamble on the performance and accuracy of reviews, but I’m happy to say this machine outperforms my expectations, I bought it to help dry my garage although a new build was damp, all I can say is it acts just like a sponge filling the tank in 12 hour, running costs are negligible, it is very quiet in operation the compressor is hardly audible, the fan is two speed and not excessively noisy, in low speed I could get away with having in my bedroom on those humid nights, this model has casters for ease of movement, and carrying handles, the display is clear and easy to use, in my opinion anyone buying this dehumidifier won’t be disappointed

Love this thing. I have it for two reasons. One of my rooms is partly underground and does suffer a bit from damp. This thing definitely helps with that, and keeps the room a little drier. The room is 5m x 3.5m, so not tiny, and this unit does well. I also bought it to put in a much smaller space to dry clothes and its amazing at this! Because I get cheap electricity overnight, I usually put it on a timer overnight, and so its cheap to run, and does the job brilliantly. Better in the autumn than hanging clothes all over radiators.

I paid £118.99 + Delivery - worth it. It has been on almost constantly in the 12 days I have had it. In conjunction with a Jumbo sized HEPA filter which complements it perfectly and even clears the air of cooking smells and smoke from burnt toast etc. The room I am using it in has the kitchen area and a radiator in front of which I have a clothes airer. So fairly damp. Dries towels very quickly actually, it is rated for laundry and it does as advertised. It can fill its tank within 12 hours on a bad day, generally only needs emptied twice a day which is handy. I bought this one to replace a smaller version, same brand, still going strong but now in the bedroom, it is also an empty twice a day unit, lesst moisture in the bedroom though. I use both units in Auto Mode and set humidity threshold to 40 percent in colder weather, 45 in warmer. You will need to use a little heating as well. but I find this helps make a cooler room more bearable. Reliable brand, well deserved recommendations, limited budget and this is excellent value for money as an alternative to a tumble dryer and if you have damp problems of course. I use plain not heated airers and it is just fine. Handy it has a single air intake (over the water tank actually) so fits in smaller spaces. You need to leave about a yard / metre clear of obstructions for best effect. The trick with removing the water tank, as you will find unpacking (the mains lead is IN the tank), is pull it forward until it stops, then tilt down towards you before pulling out. It catches slightly. Takes a while to get the hang of it but it is fine.

I’ve been using this dehumidifier for just over a week in my new garden room, where I was having consistent humidity issues. It collects a surprisingly large amount of moisture even in summer, which suggests it’ll be even more effective in winter. The water is stored in a built-in tank that automatically shuts the unit off when full — no risk of spills. It’s also on wheels, which makes it easy to roll around, though it's a bit heavy if lifting between rooms. One thing to note: it blows warm air from the top, which might be a downside for some people in warmer months. For me, it’s manageable, but worth keeping in mind if you plan to use it in a smaller or already warm space. I appreciate the clear humidity display on the top, which is more practical than the ambient LED color light on the side — though that’s a nice aesthetic touch. Overall, a solid, well-built machine that does exactly what it promises.

Dehumidifier unit, extremely easy to use. Clear instructions and digital display. Easy to empty water. This has cures the dampness in my bathroom. Can use to dry clothes also. On wheels, hence easy to move around. Unit is solid and heavy, well made. Would recommend.

Purchased to replace a much more expensive Meaco Dehumidifier costing well over double the price of this one and I have to say that after 3 weeks there is no comparison, quieter, easier to use, lighter, carrying handles on the side allow it to be moved across carpet and picked up. The compact size and large 20ltr water tank which to be honest does fill up rather quickly but that's definatetly no complaint only proof its working efficiently.
