**Q: I don't have a mortar and pestle, so how do I grind the pods? In a blender?**
A: He keep both the Cardomom Pods and the Cardoamom Ground on hand so we use each per the recipe that we are preparing. Depending on your blender you may not be able to get your Cardamom ground up fine enough to your liking.

I wanted cardamon and I picked this one because it is organic. It is safe from dangerous pesticides. I cook every meal and use a lot of spices so I can say this product for the price is on the expensive side. There are 25 or 30 cardamon inside which contain 3 or 4 seeds each. If you make a dish once in a blue moon then it is perfect for you. If not, maybe you should consider another packaging. I like the fact that it comes in a glass jar, but unfortunately the lid is plastic and NOT recyclable...for the rest it has its flagrance and taste intact.
