This family-owned business makes the best ever Pistachio Brittles, The quality is amazing, Fresh batches that smell like heaven, The elegant smell and taste of Saffron overtakes your taste buds, I bought a pack for my wife's birthday and the package was slightly late, the owner was so generous to provide an extra box to us, I am a Persian and naturally I love this stuff but my Wife being an American loves it, I know she is hooked and I am glad she is pleased with it, She said it is like nothing she had ever experienced before.apart from the freshness and amazing taste, the Boxes are Gorgeous! I bought this ( originally the 1/2 lb just to try it) in search of a different, thoughtful gift for people who have been particularly helpful in this difficult year. GOOD GUESS!! It is really delicious, a little different, beautifully packaged, great customer service....in short everything I was looking for.It tastes like a cross between a shortbread cookie and toffee with crunchy pistachio bits on top, Frankly, I don't care much for saffron normally as a flavoring, but flavor in combination with the cardamom is subtle and a delicious addition to an overall buttery richness and soft snap ....not hard and crunchy, just crisp .Similar in texture to a really good old fashioned praline.Great ( and addictive) to eat by itself, but also have broken it into bits and topped vanilla creme cupcakes with the bits....and whipped cream on top of apple gallette, and on top of a caramel cheesecake....really versatile.This is a good buy.The packaging itself is just beautiful....floral trim and bas relief ...colored inside and out, and then wrapped in jewel tone tissue with matching satin ribbon.......don't have to add a thing but a holiday card...,and I'm picky!

this the first order for me its very good quality sweet I cant tell how much we love it and it came in beautiful can and packaging as well thanks alot .

Update: I've now purchased this 7 times and it's been wonderful each time. Yes, it is very expensive in comparison to tins that are half the price at other vendors. But none of them have the same quality all around, same packaging quality that arrives unbroken and fresh, and none of them taste as good.Original review:I'm Persian and many of the sohan that are available mail order are old and taste stale and even rancid (there is a lot of fat in this stuff). So I decided to try this product since it is made domestically. Is it the best sohan I've had? No. But it's quite nice and compares very well to anything I've had that's not brought over from Iran by relatives. It's crunchy and delicate, not too sweet, and has a great perfumey flavor. It is definitely better than anything else I've ordered by mail. I'm on my second tin. And speaking of the tins, they are are really pretty and the sohan is plastic wrapped inside and when it comes by mail it is very well packaged. I've been trying to think of reasons to keep the tins and use them, they are so pretty.

Obviously the one who buys this (99%) is the one who feels nostalgic about it.All I can say is that this is the best one I've ever tasted! Plus the packaging is outstanding. They even wrapped it with a purple ribbon that took my breath away!سپاس فراوان و هزار آفرین

I've never ordered any food product on Amazon but this was most definitely worth it. The packaging was so pretty and would make for a nice gift. The flavor is so yummy and unlike anything I can find in my local area. Such a tasty sweet treat to have during these long at home pandemic days!

Not fresh at all and expensive

Came quickly and very nicely wrapped in a nice, nice, nice tin. I was assuming crunchy as in "brittle" like a toffee like crunch when ordered it. Not crunchy when made with peanut butter. Honestly I couldn't taste the peanut butter part even though it was obvious by the consistency and lack of crunch it seemed to be the most prevalent in the recipe. Kinda greasyish if that's a word.Pistachio was abundant but whatever flavor the rest of it was, the pistachio was sitting way in the back of the bus and I could detect it now and again while eating.My wife tasted it and said "Nope, it's all yours." If I had paid more attention to the website I probably would not have purchased this particular "Brittle".I WILL again buy brittle from this site. This kind again? No. All my comments are about the item and our preferences. They are selling it so obviously it has a following. My comments are just about the product .Don't lay a bad review on the sellers. It's the buyer here that ordered something he didn't know he wouldn't like. Thanks.
