Very tasty with a spicy kick. Calabrian Chili Pepper Paste is very versatile. You can use it in soups, spaghetti sauce and add the special kick flavor to beans.

This wonderful chili sauce if packed with flavor. It's not lip-burning hot, but has enough heat to let you know it has chili peppers. Other ingredients are sunflower oil, white wine vinegar, salt, citric acid, ascorbic acid (vitamin C). The disclaimer says it contains sulfites, as do many products to maintain freshness. It's also made in a factory that manufactures soy, tree nuts, wheat, eggs, mollusks, crustaceans. This may be a problem for some. I personally love that it's low-fodmap. in the amount that I use it, 1-2 tablespoons. It has no onions or garlic, yet tastes fantastic. Love it!!

Wanted make my own sugar free Mapo tofu and this paste cam up , mild flavor , that’s exact I was looking for and it’s actually quite amount in the jar so value for money , not too hot , really mild , delivered safly.

This ingredient was in a. Bon Appetite Magazine recipe so I ordered a bottle. I don’t know why it hasn’t been a staple in my fridge. I put a scoop of it in marinara sauce, soups, chili, shashuka, etc. It’s a flavor booster. It’s the thing that makes people go “there’s something else in here I can’t put my finger on.” I will not be without this anymore.
