The grid metal inserts have small enough squares that you can use smaller pieces of food without using plastic inserts 7. your food is dehydrated "safer" with the stainless shelves that air out well because they have an open system rather than using the plastic ones (most popular brands offer in which the smell and chemicals can leach in your food!) 8. Non annoying alarm goes off once when done. 9. Easy cleanup, stick the shelves in the Micro Wave 10. Very Quiet

Wow!!!! So glad i took my time and did research as this has turned out to be a top of the line Dehydrator . The 12 trays have proved to provide plenty of capacity aprox 12" X 12" . The twin fans have proved to dry everything evenly you dont have to worry about rotating trays . The controls are simple to use . Easy Clean up. The trays fit nicely in a dishwasher! Very well built!!

I've run several batches through this machine since it arrived, and I am very pleased with its performance and construction. It dryes much more thoroughly than others dryers I'be had and in less time. The controls are intuitive, and the all stainless steel construction is very sturdy. And the price is a great value. It is also very quiet, you hardly know it's running. I may buy one of their larger models as I expand my business.

The package arrived with a big dent in the corner, i opened the box and the styrofoam was cracked and broken on that corner. Everything seemed to work fine so i decided to not return it, then the lights stopped working after the first week.. it still seems to work fine, i'll update if anything else stops working. Perhaps i should have returned it. We'll see. The temp. and time control are very nice, easy/ simple to use, push button digital display, the trays are very nice. This is 1000% better than my old round plastic dehydrator! The only thing that I don't like about the temperature control is that it can not be set to the exact temp that you want, it skips every 3-5 degrees, so i can't set it to 102 or 103F, it jumps from 100 to 104. The sides do get hot, they are not insulated, I only use it at 104F to dehydrate my sprouted wheat and dry raw nuts. So be careful if you use high heat for jerky etc. Keep children away and keep it away from any flamables..

High quality dehydrator. Works very very well!!! We are so happy we got this. Great value for the money - cooks our jerky way more consistently and evenly. Easy to use and designed very well.

It's been pretty great so far. It's not very loud. I've ran roughly 50lbs of produce and meat through it so far without any issues. The adjustable temp and run time makes it extremely versatile. The trays are a fine mesh that hold most things without it falling through. The only thing I've not been able to put directly on the tray is fruit puree when making fruit leather, for obvious reasons. It's fairly easy to clean. Trays fit in the dishwasher.

I have a Great big one, And my other daughters have now these smaller vetsian..We love ours & they love theirs...Make dehydrated fruits & peppers , lemons, & if you buy the fruit silicon mats you can make fruit roll ups...We have them for ours..Apple Sauce fruit roll ups & Fig fruit roll ups..Very ez to make Purred put on silicon traysb& let it do its thing..trasfer onto Parchment paper & roll then cut into a pun wheel size & eat.. Google it.. yum!!
