But be aware in this day with political correctness and age. I do not advise you tie your own shoe laces, It's quite possible to trip up if not tied correctly or worse you may end up catching your finger in a Knot and can you imagine the embarrassment when the Fire brigade turn upNOTE: I am not a trained in the art of trainer tie-ing. please seek professional advice when tie-ing your shoe laces ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not as hard wearing as I hoped *by A***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 May 2021* The laces arrived in good time with minimal packaging (which if what you'd hope given that they are simply boot laces). They fit my hiking boots well and worked very well..... for around 3 months when one of the laces simply snapped. I think the issue is that the eyelets of my hiking boots are metal and have worn away the laces to the point where they snapped. As they are advertised as "performance" laces and "Ultra Strong" I found this to be quite disappointing (hence only 3 stars). However, as they aren't very expensive I have ordered another pair in the hope they last slightly longer, if they don't then I wouldn't buy another pair of these laces. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect. *by M***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 September 2017* Exactly the right length for my boots, I hate having to double and triple knot laces to lose the ridiculous excess that come supplied with new boots and trainers. These laces are strong and look like they will last. As a bonus they exactly matched the colour of the original laces.Arrived a day earlier than the estimate Thanks --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/58166045-mountvallaces-performance-shoe-laces-for-hiking-and-outdoor-boots-ultra](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/58166045-mountvallaces-performance-shoe-laces-for-hiking-and-outdoor-boots-ultra) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
