Helpful, Affordable Solution!
This is an affordable solution for those that need some help lifting someone! I purchased this for my 76yo/130lb mother who is wheelchair bound and unable to walk/stand on her own. The sling has a wide back which provides a lot of support and the various handles are stitched securely and allow for the greatest leverage. The sling was also able to fit around me- a 5โ11, 275lb, man (although the adjustable, snapping, safety strap was a little snug) - so it is sturdy and able to accommodate a heavier person.

Like having an assistant
This is a great assistance in handling bedridden patients with a minimum of discomfort. It slides easily behind the back, even when the patient is lying down. Two people, ideally, or one, if necessary, can raise the patient to a sitting position. The straps are long enough to reach the end of the bed to provide for a straight pull. The strap can remain in place to hold the patient up while turning to sit on the bed's edge or to allow time for bed cleaning. The strap is wide enough to provide complete support from armpits to waist. I wonder why hospitals and nursing homes don't use these as standard practice.
