Fantastic, beautiful, complex - engineering brilliance. Clever Stuff.
Exceptional model. Be very aware that some parts need to be assembled in a particular orientation - read the instructions very carefully, get it wrong and you will need to dis-assemble and go over it again.

Great model
This is an excellent model, the pieces are very accurate and fit together well.They provide spare parts for the items that are most likely to be broken, however I didn't break any parts.The instructions are very good, but you need to follow them carefully to make sure that you are assembling correctly - some of the diagrams are very small so good eyesight and/or good glasses are needed.Under no circumstances should you guess the sequence to assemble the parts or which parts go where.The only issue I had was the On-Off lever for the motor - it sticks when held upright (can't press down to turn off), however if I turn the model upside down then I can push the lever to the Off position - perhaps the designers could take a look at that, because the part that pushes into the gear must be catching on something. But this doesn't detract from the model and otherwise it is fantastic.

My Husband Loved it
This is the second kit that my husband has assembled. He found this one a bit more harder than the first one that he did which was a car. But he absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend this.The price was reasonable as well.

I have the locomotive, but this one is getting built by a friend as I am unable to do it, still to see it built

Bought as a gift - recipient happy with it
My dad loves these models, and now has several of them. I will say that they can sometimes be challenging to make - although maybe that’s just him. They do look very impressive when made. There has been more than one occasion where a price has broken during construction, and the company have been happy to send out a replacement part with no fuss. Knocked off a star as I feel they are quite expensive.
