Fun Kit with a Variety of Bath Bombs to Make
My tween daughter enjoyed this kit. This STMT bath bomb kit will make 5 bath bombs balls about 2 inches in diameter. I like that this kit contains 6 different mica powder colorants, a packet of glitter, 2 fragrances ( vanilla and lavender) plus a small bottle of dried rose buds. This gives a lot of options for creating different styles of bath bombs. You can mix the mica colorant to make your own color, make multicolored bath bombs or add dried herbs/flowers to them. The multicolored bath bombs took a little more skill, but they came out nice for her. My daughter made a pink bath bomb and added the included dried rose petals to it. She liked how this looked so much that she made a purple bath bomb and sprinkled in dried lavender buds from our garden. It is important for me to note that we did not use the included coconut oil to make the bath bombs. Too many reviews said that this left the tub greasy. The included coconut oil is not 100% coconut oil but rather a blend of petrolatum jelly, coconut oil and wax. Check the back of the box for the ingredients. So, instead my daughter substituted sweet almond oil for the " coconut oil" and she was pleased with the results.

WORTH IT
Read reviews... Everyone said coconut oil left weird residue... I subbed olive oil instead. We did a couple of test batches; here are results: •Batch 1, olive oil with color, essential oil,, Mica powder: Pros; skin came out so soft, easy instructions and set up. (Note, SLIGHTLY SQUEEZE mold. My husband and I did these side by side. His molds kept falling bc he tried shaking lose) Cons; Mica powder leaves a lasting shiny glitter and the scented oils that came with did not let off any scent. •Batch 2, almond oil extract, side purchased essential oils, and food coloring: Pros; More vibrant colors, again easy to use instructions and easy to sub ingredients to get creative, could actually smell these ones. Cons: Almond oil wasn't as nice as olive oil. •Batch 3, provided base, olive oil, separate bought scent oils and coloring: Pros; No staining/bath film, soft skin, vibrant color, easy instructions, fast mold set, super fizzy results, smelled amazing! Cons; none •Conclusion: If you are experimenting and learning bath bombs... This is so easy! For price you can purchase other items to customize your bombs. If you're ok with glitter... I suggest using same amount of suggested coconut oil and subbing for olive oil, along with scents. 100% do NOT regret this purchase. I regret other purchases made during testing... This is NOT one of them! We used mostly half molds, bc we experimented with other mold types and what came with kit was best ease of use for fast testing. Pictures reflect what I considered best batch. (Other than white, does not reflect colors that come with)

Fun Group Activity with a Little Help from Adults!
We used this bath bomb kit as a birthday party activity for our 7-year-olds and their friends, and it was a big hit! It’s a really fun and unique project, but definitely requires close adult supervision—especially for kids under 10. Older kids could probably handle more on their own, but an adult should still be involved throughout. It can get a bit messy, so be sure to cover your work surfaces to avoid any staining. The kit only comes with one mold, so it’s best for solo use. If you’re doing this with a group, I recommend grabbing a few extra molds to keep everyone engaged. The best part? The bath bombs were fully set by the end of the party, and each child got to take home their own creation. Overall, a fun and memorable activity that’s perfect for parties!

It’s fun
I bought this to make bath bombs with my girls and although it says it makes five, I was only able to make four with this kit. The colors were fun but making these with kids was very messy. There was glitter and baking soda everywhere. Lots of cleanup. Plus the bath bomb got soft after a few days. My recommendations is to make them, measure everything exact as possible, and use the bath bomb right away. It’s a fun craft, but definitely not one that I would do again.

Perfect for Preteen
My daughter ended up getting 2 of these for her birthday. She likes the freedom of doing things on her own without having to ask for help (she's 11). She can do these all on her own. The bath bombs have never made it into the ball form and seem to crumble. But that doesn't get her down! She still uses the crumbled bits. I never hear her complain and she seems to enjoy it.

She loved the bath bomb kit
A gift for my granddaughter. She loves it. She made one almost right away. She is 10 years and was able to read and understand the instructions well enough to make one within a few minutes. I highly recommend this product.

Bombs do not hold shape.
The instructions in this kit are terrible. None of the bongs stick together. We got them to use as a birthday party craft and I had to improvise.
