Great torque wrench that won't break the bank
This 1/2 inch drive click torque wrench offers excellent performance, strong build quality, and accurate torque application at a price that is very reasonable for the features it provides. It is well suited for automotive work, equipment maintenance, and any task that requires controlled tightening across a wide torque range. Accuracy and Performance The wrench delivers consistent results with a precision rating of plus or minus three percent. The click is clear and easy to feel, even when working in awkward positions or low visibility areas. Whether tightening lug nuts, suspension components, or engine fasteners, the torque readings are reliable and repeatable. The dual direction capability is a major advantage when working with reverse threaded fasteners or when torque is required in both directions. Wide Torque Range The 40 to 300 foot pound range covers everything from moderate torque applications to heavy duty tasks. This makes it a versatile tool for vehicle maintenance, trailers, machinery, and large equipment. The metric scale from 33.9 to 406.8 newton meters is clearly marked and accurate, which is helpful for service manuals that list torque in either unit. Build Quality and Mechanism The wrench feels solid and well constructed. The 72 tooth ratchet head provides a smooth and fine engagement, allowing you to work comfortably even in tighter spaces. Adjusting the torque setting is straightforward and locks securely to prevent accidental changes while you work. The overall finish and machining give it a professional feel. Ease of Use The dual range scales are easy to read, and the adjustment mechanism responds smoothly without binding. The handle provides a secure grip and good leverage during high torque applications. The audible and tactile click is noticeable without being overly loud, and it arrives right at the preset torque level. Value and Practicality For the performance offered, this torque wrench provides excellent value. The combination of wide range, high precision, dual direction functionality, and a smooth ratcheting mechanism makes it a dependable addition to any tool set. Whether for professional use or home projects, it performs to a standard that inspires confidence. Final Verdict This 1/2 inch drive click torque wrench delivers accurate, consistent, and smooth performance with a robust build and a wide range of torque settings. It is a practical and dependable tool for automotive and mechanical work, offering features often found in more expensive models. For users looking for a high precision torque wrench that performs reliably under frequent use, this model is a strong recommendation.

Tested for accuracy. Works well. Looks good. Easy to set.
I bought the 16 piece 20-220 inch pound version and it works well. I did the test where you lock the 1/4" drive in a vise and hang a known amount of weight a set distance from the point of rotation. For example a 5 pound weight hung 6 inches from the point of rotation represents 30 inch pounds (6x5), 7 inches is 35 inch pounds (7x5), 8 inches is 40 inch pounds (8x5). It seems to be accurate. The handle clicks as soon as you reach the set amount of torque and not before. It looks and feels like a professional tool, it's easy to use, and it's a great value. I use it to test tuning pins in pianos to make sure that they have enough grip to hold a tune. Make sure that you buy the correct one for your usage because inch pounds and foot pounds are very different in terms of torque.

Solid, Accurate, and Surprisingly Well-Built for the Price
Solid, Accurate, and Surprisingly Well-Built for the Price This Hairich 1/2-inch drive torque wrench performs well above its modest price point. I used it for automotive and light equipment maintenance—tightening lug nuts, mounting brake calipers, and assembling mower and bike components—and found it both accurate and comfortable to use. The wrench feels sturdy in hand with a good weight balance. The ratchet action is smooth, and the knurled aluminum handle provides a confident grip even with light gloves. The scale markings are clear and easy to read, and switching between ft-lb and Nm is straightforward. When it reaches the set torque, there’s a noticeable click, though at lower settings the sound is faint—something to be aware of if you work in noisy environments. The included hard case keeps it organized and protected, and calibration appears consistent across repeated uses. For the home mechanic or DIYer who wants reliable torque control without spending a fortune, this is an excellent option. It’s not a Snap-On or CDI, but it gets the job done accurately and with a professional feel. Bottom line: A well-made, dependable torque wrench that delivers real value and precision for under $30.

Robust and high quality
I was in serious need of precision and power for the f150 axle nut you have to take off to change the front rotors. Not only was this easy to use at high ft-lbs but even adjustable to the 296ft-lbs that I needed. It’s so much better to just impact your lugs to the base and just turn this tool a quarter turn to get the correct specs quickly. It’s high quality metal and 300 ft-lbs suites all my automotive needs. The 1/2 drive gives you a lot more torque potential as it is massive.

Useful tool
Used to properly torque oil drain plug and wheel lug nuts. Easy to adjust target torque and click was obvious. I chose this shorter wrench (lower cost) hoping it would have enough lever arm for torques in the 90 ftlb range without too much effort...worked well!

Great Value; well made and stylish too.
Its remarkable what kind of quality you can get these days for the money you spend. I was a metrology expert in the nuclear navy; as well as nuclear engineering for commercial power plants. I firmly understand this isnt on the level of precision of higher end products; nor is it meant to be... its 30 bucks. However, the fit and finish is fantastic; it looks great in person. For general purpose car and house maintenance, this thing will be perfect for anyone looking. Obviously, the question here is more "for how long"; but it honestly feels incredibly well built. Sturdy, heavy, and the ratcheting mechanism feels beefy. I have no doubts for its use case of torquing wheel lugs and bearing cap bolts. I do not have a load cell to test the accuracy, but we have to have some modicum of faith in the ability of these things. The "arm test" feels pretty accurate. I have a vintage PROTO deflecting beam wrench thats about the same length, and 100 ft lbs there feels pretty identical to 100 ft lbs on this thing. I have zero doubts.
