I acquired this light-up baseball through Vine.I was interested in the product as a gift for my nephew.He was over one night playing catch with his father. Yes, at night.Thankfully we have enough outdoor lighting where they were okay.But once I saw this product, I knew it would be perfect for such occasions when you just run out of daylight.The ball weighs 5.15 ounces and provides six color options.It comes with a charging cord... USB-A on one end, USB-C on the other. The port on the ball is of course, and thankfully, USB-C.One note of caution, I would recommend speaking with children that this ball is only for playing catch, not for batting practice!

I ordered this for my son’s Christmas stocking and it was a big hit. My son plays baseball and would love to throw and catch 24 hours a day. This is so fun because he can play at night.

Buy this if you don't care about money or the LEDs. We've gotten two and both have stopped working after the first charge. Lights don't light at all. Gave it as a Christmas gift and had to replace the first one right away. Second one seemed to work so thought it was great but it's spring now and sure enough, it's stopped working before we ever got to throw it. Stupid.

At first glance I thought this ball would be more of a toy that might be fun to play catch with...and wouldn't last very long. It is nothing of the sort...it is a toy built into a well manufactured hard ball that can take a pounding... one that has the size and weight and materials and stitching of a full league ball.The lights are of course the feature to make the dark more fun...There are six different colors and they are accessed on the small rubber usb panel right next to the usb port you can see in my picture. I wondered how this panel would work in the ball and was surprised at how will designed it is to almost disappear in play and to stay shut when not in use. It's nice not to have to deal with batteries, which surely would have made this a toy.This is a gift for my grandson...but I worked all the light functions and charged it up and played with the ball in my mitt a bit. I expect he will really enjoy this with his friends...and it will take them a while to destroy it!I'm bringing my mitt to Xmas though!

My son and I got the chance to throw this LED baseball today and we had a great time. It flies true when thrown and pops the glove like a real baseball. My 13yo travel ball playing son liked the little tab where the charging plug is (see pics) because he said it helps with grip when throwing breaking balls to put some extra spin on it. The rubber tab is noticeable but he says it didn’t bother him and he really enjoyed throwing the ball. Also, due to the electronics, this ball is not for hitting or you will surely damage it.The ball has a multitude of different colors and when you press the on/off button you are able to cycle through the selections, including one setting that allows the ball to cycle through the colors as you play. You hold the button in to turn off the ball. There is usb-c cord that is included to charge the ball when needed.One thing we noticed, when the ball hits the ground, dirt/mud may become lodged into the little holes in the cover which allow the light to shine through. I took a picture of this so you can see. It is easy to clean out the holes with a toothpick when they become blocked with dirt.Overall, this is a fun light-up baseball with some great features and good feel. It’s not perfect, but it does seem like a good value for an LED baseball. Durability is to be continued. Great ball!

Our daughter loves this, it's a cute idea for a gift for any baseball or even softball fan. All in all, cute buy...

While I am not quite sure yet how much abuse this ball can take after a bat beating but I will say that it is really fun catching it when its dark and the lights are out. I do know one thing, you're not going to lose it unless the battery goes dead. Four stars were given because there were no instructions but it was fairly easy to figure out. Each time you press the power button, it will change colors and you can pick the color effect you want. It took me a few tries to figure out how to turn it off, but I did finally get it. Just hold down the power button and lights out. You'll need to charge it before using it, but it is a great find for sure!

I really thought this would be a toy for my three-year-old to play with, but I'm not so sure now. This is just like a real baseball, only it has lights! Feels just like the real thing in your hands, so it's definitely not for the little ones to throw around. I am very impressed with this overall.
