Everything Everything [DVD] [2017]

Unlike some other reviewers here, I hadn't read the book first so I came to the film with no preconceptions. I bought the DVD to use as research for a book I'm planning to write myself about a similar couple, but based in the 1970s.Unfortunately, the film wasn't much help for me as racism wasn't discussed nor was it part of the story, but as it is based on todays values maybe that's not surprising. I'm so glad I got the film though as it is a charming love story between a young man just moved to the neighbourhood and the girl next door who, tragically, appears condemned to spend her life in her antiseptically clean home as her body has no natural defence mechanisms, so to venture outside and catch even a simple cold could prove fatal.The lead pair work so well together as they move from those early, very awkward communications beset by so many couples starting out on the road together, to an easy and loving relationship. I won't give the game away, but there is a lovely twist towards the end of the film that many may see coming, but I didn't!All in all, a lovely film that makes you smile, cry and, ultimately, feel good.

I can’t review this film as I have not seen it, I bought it for my grand-daughter for Christmas, she had rated it with 5 stars, I think that says it all.

Really enjoyed this film, watched it with my 16 year old daughter who had read the book. DVD arrived very quickly.

This is a lovely film, expectations were high having read the book and this dvd does not disappoint. Some key features were missed but did not take away from this film. It does come with a redemption code which can be used on google play movies. It’s just a shame you can watch it on Apple TV.

This is a lovely romance film to sit and watch on your own or with a significant other, light hearted and very cute story

Fantastic, beautiful and charming film. Mostly true to the book also which is a winner. Can definitely recommend this - it's a gorgeous summery film.

Loved it when I watched it at the cinema, great to have my own copy, so I may watch it over and over again! Excellent seller.
