365 Smart Afterschool Activities: TV-Free Fun Anytime for Kids Ages 7-12

This book is very helpful with ideas pertaining to activities for kids. They are quick and easy to setup and the children maintain interest throughout the activity. Sometimes we do multiple activities as some of the activities are shorter than others. I would recommend this to Parents and After School Care Coordinators.

Used this for my after school program staff. There are some good and some not so good ideas that you can choose to adjust to your program or just ignore. Some activity ideas were just added to make the 365 count, i.e. clean a toaster...

Huge waste of money ... This is for ages 7-12 and some of the ideas which are, "a kids answer to bordom" include;Cleaning the toaster ... Oh I can see my 7 yo going for that (not)Use rechargeable batteries .... HmmmmGo whale watching (if you live close to the ocean that it)Head standsMake popcornI could go on ... While there are a handful of nice ideas, on the whole this was an absolute waste of money. I would recommend a book that focuses more on science experiments for example, things to do that one wouldn't normally do.I have the "everything kids science experiments book" by Tom Robinson and have and will continue to use it for ideas that are fun, new, and educational ....

this is a great book for finding things for the children to do after school. The book arrived quickly and in good condition.

My young daughter has spent a good deal of time reading through this book. I don't know whether she has tried any of the activities.

I ordered TV-free activities for kids ages 4-8 and got the one in the picture (ages 7-12). Had to send it back as the activities were too advanced for my 6 and 4 year old! Sort this out Amazon!!!!!!
