My.dogs are obsessed. Read all.the fine print. Pups will chew tiny pieces off eventually. Consult your vet my mine is not concerned. The pieces come.off so tiny that they safely pass them. I have older super cheweds who because of age need softer nylabones to avoid older dog tooth damage. These are perfect and last my pups 2-4 weeks!! Perfect!

My dogs love these. I like thst they arent hard enough ti break teeth. Of course that means they can be chewed into small pieces over time, so like all chew toys, supervision is important. We have a house full of rescues from 100lb to 18lb. We have a lot of fosters o through our home and I've personally never seen a dog chew off a big enough chunk ti cause a problem. I throw them away when they are close to 1/2 original size, which takes months. We have a large variety of chew toys and these are always a favorite. If your dog doesn't live it right away, try slathering a thin coat of peanut butter on it. Even the pug loves these :)

For years we had bought the original Nylabones. But, they didn't hold our dog's (Great Dane and Great Dane mix) interest. These more flexible Nylabones hold their interest for hours on end and last several weeks. We can go through at least two rawhide bones of the same size in one day.Please be warned that you need to be present to observe whether the dog ingests any part of the Nylabone. Large chunks can get caught in the digestive tract. Our current dogs just chew off pieces and spit the detached pieces onto their bed. It requires a little clean up of the pieces, but for the amount of time it takes them to get through one bone, it is well worth it!

I love that this will not break my dog’s teeth, but I don’t love that it only lasts for a few hours. Buddy destroys this (yes, I have bought this a few times just because he loves to do so). I have a smart dog, so he doesn’t eat the pieces he chews off. He spits them all over the floor very vigorously, like he’s really doing an important job. It’s so entertaining to watch, I keep buying the darn things. I wish they were just a wee bit tougher, or maybe that my dude wasn’t 1/3 pittie with a strong jaw. Sigh. I know I will be buying this again.

Our dogs love them, but we have to watch them like a hawk to be sure they don’t swallow all the little bits they gnaw off. Haven’t had anything really terrible happen, thank goodness, but inevitably, one of the dogs will turn up with an upset stomach occasionally and hork up multiple rough and irritating pieces of this material. What isn’t eaten will be ground into your carpets if you don’t pick the pieces up right away. Obviously, these aren’t actually for aggressive chewers, but my dogs don’t like the super hard bones that are designed for them. They think it’s much more satisfying to tear these up. I get it, I wouldn’t want to chew on the incredibly hard nylabone products either.

Keeps our active lab busy. Chose this because it is not as hard as some of the other chew bones . Was told by our vet that the chew bone should have a little give where a fingernail can make an indent to prevent any broken teeth . The bone is flavored and she seems to love the chicken flavor .

37-pound dog carries the XL size around when she's feeling excited, but never chews it. She's the largest dog in the family. The smaller dogs all enjoy the flexi nylabones but prefer the wolf/medium size. The largest dog prefers hooves or the bam-bones with the holder shape. I'll continue to buy the smarter nylabone flexi bones because of how much the smaller dogs enjoy them.

My dog has broken some teeth on the hard bones, he's a heavy chewer. Does it leave chunks on the floor,yup, does it wear out,yup. That's what it's supposed to do!pet dental is$$$$, and these help keep me pups teath clean.
