I'm sure there are other possibilities, but I could not name any. **Q: So far, the mount looks like a winner, but.....do any of you advise the use of a laser in addition to the flashlight for home defense use?** A: If you feels it's necessary. However, the flashlight will more or less be your aim point on the shotgun so there isn't a real requirement for a laser.Lasers can however be intimidating (so maybe you won't HAVE to shoot, which is the best scenario that could happen!) and useful in hip shot situations, plus they can be fun on the range. So it's entirely up to you. I have a Super Nova Tactical with a mag tub extension. I like that it helps support the mag tube. Seems very solid and looks like it would fit most tactical flashlights.(Don't use a flashlight that is not weapons grade yer shotgun will eat it!) After looking at all the other options available all over the internet this is the best alternative to a rail setup for a HD Shotgun. Your going to get what you pay for and this is worth a few extra buck. Don't get some junkie cheapo knockoff, this is the real deal.
