The fact that this colander can reduce its own footprint for your cupboards is an essential part of this products design. The green silicone is squidgy, soft and durable. It pops into, and out of shape with little effort and has a silicone ring at the base for added grip. I put mine through the dishwasher cycle while not being compressed so as to facilitate adequate cleaning. When folded to its smaller size the rubber can reduce water flow inside and although it probably would still be clean, the result is ensured while expanded. Well worth the cash!

Useful that they don't take up much room. Possibly not as good as a conventional colander as they only have holes at the bottom and although they are folding well now, the plastic is quite stiff so will be interested to see how long they last.

A wonderful product, space saving, I give them 500%, cannot rate them high enough, one of the best things since sliced bread.

Extends across the sink. I don't have to try and hold a pan in one hand a sieve in the other.

Wish I'd bought these sooner. Great for draining veg/rice/pasta and not a pain to wash.
