I would give this item ZERO stars if that were an option. The plate fell apart into three pieces the first time I used it on our new induction oven set at medium temperature See photo. Do not buy this product if you have an induction over.

These do what they are intended for, the quality is decent enough. But using it for a while, to boil tea in a borosilicate container I used previously on a gas stove turned out to be very slow and disappointing. There simply isn't a lot of metal here to heat via induction, and then heat transfer to your cooking piece. No real fault of the product, it works, stays clean. But ultimately, I just bought a proper induction friendly pot.

Actually worked pretty well on a Coleman gas stove. Needed something to disperse the heat. After the third use it delaminated. It's NOT a single piece of stainless, it's laminated with a different metal between. Not sure what metal it is. I can probably keep using it but I won't buy another. I'll go to a machine shop and have one machined out of solid SS stock.

perfectly sized for a heirloom double boiler that is not induction compatible. the detachable pickup/handle is a little odd but it's probably worth the extra effort to not have yet another handle atop the stove.

Warped after a few uses. Layers of metal also separated.

I've been using this diffuser on our induction cooktop to percolate coffee for a few weeks now and it works great. I start out with the hob on about 80% power until it boils the water (Takes about 10 minutes for 9 cups) then reduce the heat to about 20% or less during perking.I read some reviews where the layers started separating, but I haven't noticed any of that happening.It works great for what I bought it for.

It works, but it takes awhile to heat up, and the temperature you are used to cooking on is much different and higher than you are accustomed to.

So far it works well on induction. Heats up faster than the regular hot plate,The adapter has small 'legs', probably to make it possible to insert the handle; however they also reduce contact with the induction hob's surface, which is nice.One star is off because of two things, neither is important though. First, the handle is pure metal and can be very hot. Second, the heat control of the induction hob is probably off with the adapter, because of air between. At least, it behaves differently via adapter.

This product works as it should but some of the rose gold plating has come off after a single use. Other than that, it works well. I bought it so I can use my espresso maker on my induction stove. The plate holds heat for a long time. I bought the rose gold one but I have a feeling it won't stay rose gold for long.
